50 children over 5 years. Wow! What an amazing career step towards my biggest dream! Practicing names and fine motor skills this morning with dried chickpeas, lentils, peas and chia seeds. Before a child can write their name they must first strengthen their fingers. The children have used their pincers to pick up the tiny materials and stick them to their name trying their best to stay within the lines.

The benefit of using food in play has positive impacts on a child's development. They gain a healthy relationship with food as they experience different colours and textures. Also offering cues for communication and language as they learn new terminology.
