We’re Hiring: Governance Advisor | Wickersley Partnership Trust

We are seeking a Governance Advisor (Behaviour & Panels) to provide high-quality governance, administrative, and organisational support across the Trust.

Alongside traditional clerking duties - such as preparing agendas, minuting board meetings, and advising on statutory compliance - you will act as the Trust’s primary administrative point of contact for Permanent Exclusion (PX) and Behaviour Panels. You will handle highly sensitive documentation, liaise with vulnerable families during challenging times, and ensure that all panels are legally robust and strictly compliant with statutory timelines.

📣 This week, Rawmarsh Ashwood has been celebrating some fantastic attendance achievements! On Monday, pupils who achieved 100% attendance during the summer term enjoyed a special extra playtime. They had lots of fun playing football on the MUGA, enjoying the outdoor equipment with their friends, and cooling down with delicious ice lollies.

On Tuesday, our pupils who have achieved 100% attendance since returning to school in September were treated to a special cinema trip to watch Minions. The children had a fantastic time!

On Thursday, we welcomed a special visit from the ice cream van to reward pupils who had achieved 100% attendance over the previous three weeks. Each child enjoyed a delicious ice cream as a well-deserved reward for their excellent commitment to coming to school every day.

As we head into the final week of term, we're looking forward to welcoming our new FS1 and FS2 children to Ashwood this September!

📣 Last week, KS2 had an amazing time exploring the Yorkshire Sculpture Park! Pupils enjoyed discovering a wide range of impressive sculptures, taking the opportunity to appreciate art in a unique outdoor setting. Throughout the visit, they explored the different exhibits, discussed their favourite pieces, and learned more about the artists and the inspiration behind their work.

It was a fantastic day filled with creativity and plenty of memorable moments. Well done to everyone for representing the school so brilliantly!
