Quality from everyone today every single medal had to be earned. Really pleased with everyone’s performances and the effort shown throughout the day. Plenty of learning as always, and that’s what it’s all about.

Big hats off to all the parents and to Tash for helping make sure everyone was ready and on time for their categories all day 👏

Lots of fights, lots of wins and plenty of lessons learned along the way. The heat definitely didn’t make things easy but everyone dug deep and cracked on regardless 💪☀️

Fight Team and Fighter Development are officially weighed in and ready for this weekend’s tournament 👊🔥

A massive moment for the team, with 3 of our Fighter Development athletes stepping into competition for the very first time. Proud of the work, commitment, and courage they’ve shown just to get to this point 💪

While the tournament team gets ready for battle, our juniors are staying sharp and busy as preparations continue for the ISKA World Championships in November🌍🥊

The hard work is done now it’s time to perform.

The support, energy, and community spirit on display today was incredible. Massive thank you to everyone who came down, sparred, supported, donated and helped make it such a success.

This is what it’s all about one team, one community, pushing each other forward 💪

Happy 3 Year Anniversary 🎉

Three years since we opened our doors and what a journey it’s been.

We’ve achieved so much together. From travelling to Vienna and Australia for the World Championships, to now preparing to take our biggest squad yet to Spain this year the growth has been incredible.

This past year alone, we celebrated a huge milestone with our very first 1st Dan black belt, Connor, alongside 8 junior black belts: Harvey, Ava, Jasmine, Andrei, Luke, Rich, Louise, and Nic.

We’ve set goals and exceeded them. There’s been blood, sweat, and tears plenty of ups and downs but also phenomenal learning experiences every step of the way.

It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching and coaching each and every one of you. Watching you all grow, not just as martial artists but in life makes me incredibly proud.

Senior instructor Connor wins his first senior gala 🏆

An absolute wicked fight from both men huge respect to Sam, who came in strong and ready.

Round 1: Connor started sharp, showing good composure. He was still finding his range but landed some quality shots, including a lovely teep to the midsection that sent his opponent to the canvas.

Round 2: After making some key adjustments in the corner, Connor really settled into the fight. Midway through the round he scored a knockdown with a clean right hand over the top. A solid 10-8 round in our favour.

Round 3: Not Connor’s best round. He didn’t pick his shots as well and took a few unnecessary ones. A close round but we’re honest it likely went the other way.

Going into the final round, we knew we were ahead on the scorecards. Connor still gave it everything and finished strong.

Massive shoutout to Will, Marshal and Sam 👏

At just 17 years old, these three young men genuinely stand out. Their manners, respect, and attitude are better than most people you come across and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

They all came to us as friends outside the gym. Will led the way, bringing Marshal along, who then became a lifetime member during our Christmas sale. Not long after, Sam joined the team too. Since then, they’ve been a solid trio.

Every single session, they show great etiquette, listen properly, work hard, and carry themselves exactly how you’d want young athletes to. No moaning, no messing, no talking over classes. Just T-shirts tucked in, belts tied and the correct kit. The right attitude every time.

Let’s be honest at that age, it’s easy for behaviour and manners to slip. That’s why it’s even more important to recognise it when young lads get it right.
