The end of a very busy and exciting day…

Day 1 at Robinwood and the children have been amazing! They’ve shown so much positivity and resilience, and have really supported each other all day with lots of encouragement . Listerdale Magic at its absolute best ✨

The children are in 3 groups and have all been getting stuck in doing different activities throughout the day. Yesterday included climbing, the trapeze, caving, obstacle courses, and we finished the day with some fun team challenges!

We’re SO excited for day 2!

Y6 are having a wonderful time at Robinwood! When the activities are so much fun, the grounds are this gorgeous and the food is fabulous there’s nothing more you want! Pictures from today’s activities to follow ⭐️

World Hunger Day!
Mellors Catering is proving all pupils in KS2 (Y3–Y6) a FREE school lunch on Tuesday 9th June to support Works Hunger Day.
Children in FS2, Y1 and Y2 will still receive their universal free school meal.

We hope all children take this opportunity to try a school meal.

It's been a busy first week back for the F1s. The children have been using their tearing skills to collage beach balls, writing and cutting skills to create a sun with their name, creating some fantastic mermaid tails in playdough, had lots of fun playing with the trains on the track and recreating our story focus of "The Train Ride". Our maths focus this week was to look at puzzles, the children did a great job with sorting puzzle pieces and finding out where each piece fit into the puzzles. As always the children have had lots of fun outside in our outdoor area.

Forest School F1 week 01/06/2026 - making natural perfume potions.

The F1 children have been excited to make their very own perfume potions. They used water, flowers, leaves, grass, sticks and lots of other things they could find that would make their perfume potions smell nice. They then used a pipette to sq**rt some onto leaves, plant's and flowers in the natural outside environment to encourage the insects to go too.
The insects are going to love these perfume potions!

2I - we made the most of the sunshine today and took out learning outside, such a lovely way to end the half term. The children also wanted to proudly show off their beanstalks!

The children have worked so hard this half term, we are very proud of them. We hope you all enjoy your half term and we will see you all in June for our last half term! ☀️
