💙 Let’s get behind one of our Oak House families this weekend! 💙

One of our nursery dads, Sam, is taking on an incredible challenge to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Sam will be cycling for 24 hours, helping to power a 24-hour sheep shearing challenge, while fellow farmer Jamie and a fantastic team of farming friends shear sheep throughout the event. 🚲🐑

If you’re local, why not pop along and show your support? There’ll be food, children’s activities, a charity auction, raffle and much more. You’ll find all the event details in the shared post below.

🎓✨ Kindergarten Graduation 2026 ✨🎓

What a very special afternoon celebrating our wonderful Kindergarten children as they graduate from Oak House. 💚

It was lovely to welcome our families for refreshments, to enjoy the children’s wonderful art display and to look back at so many special memories from their time at Oak House.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and all they have achieved. As they get ready for their next big adventure at school, we hope they take with them many happy memories of their time with us.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Kindergarten team for everything they have done for the children, and to Leanne and Claire for preparing the lovely refreshments for everyone to enjoy. 💚

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We will miss you all so much! 🎓💚

What a glorious sunny spring day for our annual Kindergarten outing to Raglan Farm Park ☀️🐑🚜

The children had the best time meeting the animals, riding on the tractors, whizzing along the zip lines, and clambering up, down, round and round the enormous soft play areas!

It’s not surprising that lots of little ones crashed out on the coach ride back to nursery after such an exciting and adventure-filled day 🌼💛

Lots of smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories made together!

Thank you so much to everyone for the kind messages and support following the loss of Mum, Sue, it’s clear she meant a great deal to so many.

Sue’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 28th April at 11:30am at St Mary’s Church, Ross.

This will be followed by a private burial, and afterwards we warmly invite you to join us at Flanesford Priory to celebrate her life.

All who knew and loved her are very welcome to attend.

Oak House will be closed on the day to allow our staff and families to attend.

We wanted to share this lovely clip from BBC Points West yesterday ❤️

It features one of our Oak House families. Seren has been climbing mountains to raise awareness and encourage people to donate plasma. What an amazing big sister she is 💪⛰️

Her little brother Monty needs regular plasma transfusions to keep him healthy as he has a rare genetic disorder. He’s such a special little boy and we feel very lucky to have had him with us at Oak House since he was a baby 💚

Plasma donations are used to make life-saving medicines for people with serious conditions, and thousands rely on them every year (NHS Blood Donation).
