To help students make the most of every lesson, all pupils are expected to arrive at school with the essential equipment needed for learning. Having the correct resources supports organisation, independence, and engagement in lessons, while reducing disruptions to learning.

Please check regularly that equipment is available, in good condition, and replenished when required

As we head into the second half of the summer holiday and many families begin purchasing uniform for September, we'd like to remind every one of The Romsey School's uniform expectations.

Our school uniform is an important part of our shared ethos. It promotes a sense of belonging, equality, and pride in our school community, while helping students approach their learning with a professional mind-set. 
In particular, we would like to draw attention to our footwear policy.

Students must wear black, sensible leather school shoes. Please note that trainers are not permitted, even where retailers or sports shops market them as "school shoes". Boots, trainers and pumps are not acceptable under our uniform policy. 

We would also like to remind families that facial piercings are not permitted, including retainers, nose studs, eyebrow studs and other facial jewellery.

The 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Year 8 North Wales trip 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 has just concluded its final day of activities. Over the last week the students took part in Coasteering, Gorge Walking, Mine Exploration, Scrambling, Via Ferrata, Abseiling, Canoeing, Climbing, Quarry Exploration and Weaseling. Well done to all that took part and a big thank you to Mr Francis, Mr Brown, Mr Snape and Miss Stewart for leading the trip.
