🎉 That's a wrap on another fantastic school term and our first full year at Wonder Star School! 🎉

As we reach the end of the term, we'd like to say a huge thank you to our incredible pupils, dedicated staff, and supportive families for making it such a memorable one.

We've celebrated achievements, embraced new challenges, received a very successful OFSTED report, created wonderful memories, and watched our children grow in confidence, kindness, and learning every single day. We couldn't be prouder of everything they've accomplished.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break filled with fun, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. Stay safe, make lots of happy memories, and come back refreshed and ready for another exciting term!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful families who joined us for our Family Fun Day! 🎉

It was fantastic to see so many parents, carers and children enjoying the day together. From bouncing on the bouncy castle to treating yourselves at the ice cream van, we hope everyone had a brilliant time making memories and celebrating the end of our first academic year at Wonder Star ⭐ 🍦💛

It was also wonderful to welcome our new children who will be joining the Wonder Star family in September, we hope you enjoyed meeting all of the staff and exploring our little school 🏫 ⭐️

Your continued support means so much, and events like these wouldn't be the same for our children without our amazing school community. Thank you for coming along, joining in the fun, and helping to make the day such a success.

The government have implemented a campaign called 'Great British Summer Savings'.

From 25th June to 1st September 2026, the Government is temporarily cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on children's meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, and admission to a wide range of attractions.

Combined with free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England, families and young people will be able to enjoy experiences that make summer special, including visits to the kinds of cultural and educational attractions that enrich children's lives outside the classroom.

An 'Attraction Finder' website has also been launched to support families.

🐴 A Wonderful Day at Horse Therapy!💙

Our pupils had a fantastic time during their off-site visit to the horse therapy centre this week.

The session provided a calm, nurturing environment where pupils could build relationships with the horses, develop their confidence, practise communication skills, and enjoy new sensory experiences. Spending time with the horses also encouraged emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and independence, with each pupil engaging in their own unique way.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at the horse therapy centre for always making us feel so welcome and for providing such a positive and meaningful experience for our pupils. We always look forward to our regular visits.
