Today was race day!! 🤩 What an incredible time we had doing the Tatton 10k together in aid of Dougie Mac. Thank you so much to everyone who donated - it meant the world to us and spurred us on when our legs were giving up!

This term, Year 4 have been exploring the art of collage and have been inspired by the incredible collage quilts of Faith Ringgold. Using her vibrant storytelling and textile artwork as inspiration, the children worked collaboratively to create this stunning sewn collage quilt as their final piece.

Our finished artwork celebrates the theme of our class identity, with the children contributing to this unique piece. It has been wonderful to see their individual ideas come together to create one shared piece of artwork. 🎨✂️🧵

Wow, the front of school has been transformed today! Our sculptures have arrived and they are just stunning. Well done to the 20 children whose designs were chosen for the glasswork. You have done an incredible job and should be very proud. 🥰

It was an emotional send off for Helen Pickford today, but what an amazing spread Claire Powell put on for us. Absolutely gorgeous. I recommend contacting her for any event.

Year One had a fun Friday playing with ice balloons to cool themselves down. They loved looking at the patterns of the ice and watching them melt. They seemed very keen to have a go at home....

Year Two have been retelling the class book of 'Grandad's Secret Giant'. They are still working very hard in their last week of term.

🥁🥁 Drum roll, please… 🥁🥁

Yes, you are reading that correctly! This year’s Summer Fair raised a whopping £5,136.05! 🍾🥳

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us on the night. We couldn't have raised this incredible amount without the support of our wonderful community. Every raffle ticket purchased, every competition entered, and every game played made a difference. 💪🏼

This money will be spent revamping the KS2 playground and making it more accessible for the children during the winter months. 🌧️

Another enormous thank you goes to our incredible PTFA Chair, Laura Witkiss, and Vice Chair, Hannah Knibbs, who worked tirelessly for months to ensure the event ran smoothly and was such a huge success.

A massive thank you also goes to everyone involved with the PTFA for sourcing raffle prizes, selling tickets, sharing our Facebook posts, organising and running stalls, making a very scary drive to collect all the drinks, helping with setting up and tidying away, and simply offering to lend a hand whenever it was needed. 🙌🏼

Finally, we couldn't have achieved this without our incredible raffle, which raised over half of the total amount. Thank you to every individual and business who generously donated a prize. Your kindness means so much to our school, and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 🥰
