Today's Key Stage 2 performance was simply outstanding. Our pupils filled the stage with confidence, enthusiasm, humour, and so much talent. Every song, every line, and every smile reflected the hard work, resilience, and teamwork they have shown throughout the year.

We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them. Watching them perform with such confidence was a reminder of just how much they have all grown.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, whose encouragement, creativity, and countless hours of preparation made today's performance so special. Thank you also to our families for your continued support and for sharing this memorable occasion with us.

To our amazing Year 6 pupils: you made us laugh, you made us smile, and you made us incredibly proud. This performance was a wonderful celebration of everything you have achieved, and we know you will go on to do amazing things as you begin the next chapter of your journey.

Today EYFS went on a a trip to the amazing Stocks wood outdoor centre . We have had a fantastic day exploring the natural world around us. Thinking about different materials, building dens with the three little pigs in mind -thinking about the structures and materials we find in nature 🪵 🍃 🌲 . We have enjoyed starting 🔥 , pond skimming 💧, hunting for fairy doors🚪and toasting marshmallows. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and a huge thank you to our helpers today!

Rotakids had a fabulous day at Carlisle College. They took part in joinery sessions, had time in the fine dining restaurant, discovered all about engineering , made their own playdough and ended the day with some time in the Theatre. It really was a packed programme of learning different skills and finding out about career opportunities. Well done Rotakids!

Rotakids completed a village litter pick after school. It was pleasing to see very little rubbish on our wander. We take pride in our village and community. Well done Rotakids!

Miss Scotson, Mrs Birch & Mrs Batey’s classes had a great time this morning watching ‘A Fisherman’s tale’ at St Paul’s church. The children had a musical rendition of many bible favourites. We had a whale of a time 🐳 🐟 🐠

Year 5/6 have had a fantastic time in Liverpool for their residential! A trip to the football ⚽️ , lots of fun bowling 🎳 and an action packed day at the science museum 🧬 🧪 🧫

Year 5/6 are having a great time in Liverpool. So far we have visited the Cathedral ⛪️ watched an Egyptian mummification ceremony and toured the World Museum. We are now off to Hollywood Bowl and the football. ⚽️ 🎳

What a way to start our Vikings unit in y4/5!! We had a wonderful trip to York this week, the Jorvik Viking Centre and DIG. We learned so much and saw and smelled lots too!! We can't wait for our next history lesson next week!

Our Summer Fete was a huge success. The children enjoyed, Hook a Duck, Tin Can Alley, Penalty Shoot Out and much more. Thank you to everyone that came along to have fun and thank you to the Friends of Rockcliffe for organising it.
