Our Baby Sensory classes are award winning classes founded by Dr Lin Day designed to enhance learning & development from birth to 13 months.

Baby Sensory provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital 1st year. Classes include fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows and much more. We are very proud to say that 92 % of our babies reach their milestones quicker than their peers. The next stage is Toddler Sense which is from 13 mo

nths to 3 years and above. It is an Adventure Play activity that has been designed to build on the skills acquired at Baby Sensory. Toddler Sense is an exciting introduction into learning through play and games. Our Toddler Classes include great music, equipment, games and new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces new activities and a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme that improves listening stills, social skills, confidence building and communication.

Our Baby Sensory Sept/Oct classes started last week in our Shoebury venue but there is still time to join us for the rest of the term. Here is a little tour of the venue. Classes here run on Fridays at 10am & 11.15am for babies 0-13 months.

A massive thank to everyone who has booked the Sept/Oct Autumn term so far at Baby Sensory® Southend 🍁

I am pleased to share we are now taking bookings for new families to join the magic from September. Once these spaces are filled there will be no space until November!

We are often asked about the difference between the 0 to 6 month, 6 to 13 month and 0 to 13 month classes.

The difference between them is really the pace and the general energy.

All the babies in the 0 to 6 months class are young, some might only be a few weeks old so not many of the babies are sitting up yet, there are no crawlers or walkers and normally it’s baby’s first baby class so it’s generally a nice gentle slower pace.

The 6-13 months class can have lots or crawlers and some walkers so the energy in the class can be greater. Of course we have lots of babies in the older class who aren’t crawling or walking yet too.

9 out of 10 of the actives are exactly the same, we just do them differently to suit the babies age and developmental stage.

We also have 0 to 13 months. Lots of babies are between the two stages mentioned above and this class is very suitable for them. Some families may want to join with a friend and their baby is over 6 months and yours is younger, then this class is very suitable. Or maybe the time suits naps 😴

⭐️Calling all new parents in the Southend area ⭐️

Have you just had a baby? Are you thinking of joining a baby class? Would you like to meet parents with a similar age baby? I have some rare space available in our 0-6 month classes in Rochford, Westcliff and Leigh at 12.30pm in our Sept/Oct term starting w/c 07/09. Our 0-6 month class is designed specifically for our younger babies, there are no crawling babies in these classes and our activities in this class are taylored to our younger babies.

This is a 6 week term which costs £57. Every week is different, we have lots of fun themes to enjoy including…
