The Morgan Academy of Performing Arts

The Morgan Academy of Performing Arts Classes are held in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, Modern and Jazz, Singing and Drama. Examinations are entered for throughout the year with 100% success rate.

Personally supervised by Miss Vanda Morgan, this performing arts school enjoys a fine reputation for providing exceptional training within a family orientated atmosphere. The schools` aim is not only to encourage and achieve a high standard of dance, but to give all students the opportunity to experience the enjoyment of participating in theatre and performance. Festivals and Choreographic Competi

tions are also in the schools` curriculum. Pupils are encouraged to audition for both professional and amateur shows and the school has many past and present students working professionally in such shows as "West Side Story" "Les Miserables" "Annie" "Saturday Night Fever" "King and I" "My Fair Lady" "Cats" "Whistle Down the Wind" to name but a few. Children expressing a wish to develop their talents further are recommended to an agent, and indeed several can be seen regularly on television in adverts, children series, drama series and soaps

Ex-students Emily and Presley received their dance college results yesterday from Adagio College of Performing Arts 💥

Emily obtained a Triple Merit in BTEC Performing Arts, Musical Theatre and is off to Stella Mann College to continue her training ⭐️

Presley passed her Performing Arts BTEC with Distinction and Distiction Star and is off to the London Studio Centre 🤩

So proud of you girls! Keep up the good work 🫶

WELL DONE to ex-student, ALEX CARTER, for his superb characterisation of Major-General Stanley in the Pirates of Penzance! 🙌

Excellent direction, great choreography and strong vocals throughout ⭐️

With only six in the cast, Alex also played a pirate, a policeman, and one of Stanley’s daughters! 🏴‍☠️👮‍♂️👗

Rosie started at MAPA from a very young age and trained with us for 14 years, leaving the Academy in the summer of 2012. Her MAPA dance friends were by her side on the BIG DAY to celebrate with her!... which just goes to show that, “Dance Friends, Make The Best Friends" and stay with you for life! 💞
