With the in-person seminars heading back to the UK, we thought it was time to start getting 'match fit' as we say over here in Blighty.

Most of our time over the past six months has been focused on technical work. But, we thought it was time to dust off the protective gear and have a play.

Just using the gloves again we found to be a real challenge. It affected our grips and left our arms burning out shockingly quickly.

So we're going to make sure we start drilling with gear on more regularly, even for technical work so it's not going to be such a step up for more 'enthusiastic' freeplay.

Great to have my Jianfa class mate John Lee down for a training session last night.

I won't tell you what he said to cause me to burst out laughing... suffice to say it was rude and something we'll settle next time we cross blades! 🤙😜
