About Kent Maths Tutor
My passion is helping children to enjoy learning and reach their full potential. I provide personalised Maths and English tuition, both in person and online.
I have experience working with a variety of school-age pupils and adult learners, those struggling with the subject and those who constantly need new challenges. I have worked on the Isle of Wight and in Kent and have experience of both state and independent schools.
My teaching is tailored to the needs of my students. I use a variety of teaching techniques to ensure that each topic is understood and enjoyed. I believe all have the potential to be successful and I am ready to go an extra mile to help my students get there. I believe education is more than just remembering facts and procedures: learning is a life-long process and I hope to instil in my students the love of learning.
I am interested in the philosophy of education and my Master's thesis explored the aims of teaching Mathematics. In my spare time, I enjoy long walks, cooking and reading.
