Last week was all about celebrating our incredible, diverse community for Language & Culture Week!

From hands-on origami and mandala workshops to live pupil performances and school-wide language quizzes, students from Reception to Sixth Form came together to celebrate what makes us unique.

At King’s, our community is everything and celebrating each other’s differences is what we do best.

A glimpse into an exciting Careers Day at King’s!

School Hall was buzzing as local businesses, organisations and universities joined us for a fantastic Careers Fair, giving our pupils the opportunity to meet professionals, discover different industries and start thinking about where their own futures could take them.

From Year 4 right through to Upper Sixth, our pupils had the chance to ask questions, explore new possibilities and hear first-hand about the world beyond school.

For our younger pupils especially, it was an exciting opportunity to start imagining what their future might look like — and with so many different pathways to discover, the possibilities are endless! ✨

A huge thank you to all of the businesses and universities who joined us and helped make the day so inspiring.

A little glimpse back at a very special Commemoration Day at King’s 💙

From the Cathedral service and the opening of the final phase of our STEM Centre, to an afternoon filled with food, friendly competition and plenty of fun, it was a wonderful celebration of our King’s community.

Old Roffensians returned to take on our current pupils in cricket and netball, St Margaret’s Garden was filled with delicious food and drink, and the KPS brought the fun with their fantastic fair.

A day of tradition, community, laughter and memories — and a lovely reminder of what makes Commemoration Day so special.

Steeped in history since 1542, our proudest traditions live on!

This term, we officially welcomed our new King’s Scholars to the Cathedral Foundation during a memorable service at Rochester Cathedral. Admitted in recognition of their outstanding academic attainment, each scholar signed the Register of the King’s Foundation, taking their place in a legacy that spans centuries.

As Dean Philip reminded us, we belong to something far greater than ourselves. Congratulations to our new King’s Scholars!

Here, To See You Thrive 🎥

To See You Thrive is more than a film, it captures what we believe a King’s education should be: a place where young people are encouraged to discover who they are, embrace opportunity, find their strengths and grow in confidence.

Our ambition is simple: to help every young person thrive.

From the classroom to the sports field, from performance to friendship, from challenge to achievement - it is the people and moments that make King’s what it is.

And at the heart of the film are the words of two of our pupils, and a poem that brings our message to life.

Created with the collaboration of our pupils, parents, teachers and staff, this film marks an exciting new chapter for King’s and will help shape how we share our story in the years ahead.

So, welcome to King’s…..

Join us and experience King’s for yourself at our upcoming Open Mornings:

Saturday 26th September, 9:30am: Year 4 - Sixth Form
Tuesday 29th September, 9:30am: Nursery - Year 3

A wonderful Commemoration Day at King’s 💙

A day filled with tradition, celebration and the coming together of our King’s community — past and present.

The day began with a special service at Rochester Cathedral, before we officially opened the final phase of our new STEM Centre — marking another exciting chapter in the development of our school.

St Margaret’s Garden came alive with food, drinks and plenty of summer spirit, with Best of British and Mexican street food on offer. Our Old Roffensians took to the pitch and court to face current pupils in cricket and netball, creating plenty of friendly competition and some brilliant moments along the way.

And the KPS brought the fun with a wonderful fair, complete with games, candy floss and popcorn!

A special day that brought together our pupils, families, staff and Old Roffensians — celebrating the history, community and continuing story of King’s. 💙
