From Year 7 through to Sixth Form, we combine high academic standards with a creative, friendly atmosphere where students can really be themselves.
📚 Small classes. 400+ students. 180+ boarders.
Whether you're into science and maths, politics or poetry, astronomy or electronic music or still working it out- you’ll be taught by enthusiastic subject specialists who treat you as an individual. We host the UK Economics Olympiad and our art department won the ISA Award for Excellence and Innovation in Fine Arts. We run a specialist medical school prep programme and a foundation art diploma. No uniforms, no bells - just bags of support and a shared love of learning. And some lovely gardens.
🎨 Creativity runs through everything we do- from our film and design studios to how we think about teaching and learning. Our students go on to top universities and art schools, including all of the G5, but they also leave with confidence, independence, and curiosity.
🌍 Our campus community of day and boarding students is inclusive, international, and welcoming- a place where people respect each other and where it’s easy to make friends, whatever your background or interests. The says: "Pastoral care is exemplary, agrees everyone. Pupils are mature, free-thinking, considerate and good humoured.” We are 60% UK, 40% international and have students with us from 49 different countries.
🎓 Whether you’re joining in Year 7 at the age of 11, looking for a fresh start at GCSE, aiming high in Sixth Form or looking to retake or follow a one year intensive A level course, you’ll find space here to grow- academically, creatively and personally.
