How many granny squares does it take to make a cardigan?
You are going to need 38 granny squares for sizes XS to L and 70 granny squares for XL to 5XL to crochet the granny square cardigan

What can you make with a granny Square (or 2)?

Make your granny square until it measures from the bottom of your fingers to your wrist.

Fold in half and sew the sides together leaving a small unstitched gap for your thumb.

Hey presto, fingerless gloves, perfect for keeping warm while still using your phone! 🤣
