Good news for settings watching their recruitment budget.

From 1 October 2026, non-levy employers hiring a 16–24-year-old apprentice can claim a new £2,000 hiring incentive. It sits on top of 100% training funding, which now covers all apprentices aged 16–24. Your apprentice must have started with you on or after 1 July 2026.
