A couple of weeks ago at Rochester Cathedral, I went to a vigil for the children of Palestine. It was emotional — candles, poetry, photos of families and little ones who should still be here.

What really stayed with me was how people from all faiths and backgrounds came together, welcomed and united in love and sadness. It was heavy, but also really beautiful. 🕯️🇵🇸

Hugely disappointing to read that the have struck down the use of affirmative action in college admissions in the US.

Education is the key to social mobility.

Equity over Equality.

Due to material and cultural deprevation, which seems to disproportionately affect black and brown people, many in the US will fail to receive that very tiny leg up to afford them to opportunity to thrive in academia and beyond.
