The time has come to say goodbye to our little Squirrels.
After 20 years of teaching, this has been one of the most memorable years. You have all surprised us in the very best ways. You have made us laugh, smile, and even cry. You have shared your happiest moments and your toughest days with us, and most importantly, you have reminded us every day why we love what we do.

Being your teachers has never felt like just a job, it has been an absolute joy.

Watching each of you grow, learn, and flourish has been a privilege. While we are sad to see you leave, we are so excited to watch you spread your wings and become the amazing people we know you will be.
Thank you for letting us be part of your journey and for sharing your days with us. We will always be your biggest cheerleaders and will be so proud of everything you go on to achieve.

With all our love,
Jane, Willa, Wendy, Megan, Ruby, Sarah and Jen x

As the school year comes to an end we would like to say a huge thank you to our year 6 buddies.

From the very first day you welcomed our nursery children with kindness, patience and the biggest smiles. You have been their role models, their cheerleaders, and most importantly, their friends.

From reading stories, playing games, helping to solve problems, or simply offering a reassuring hand, you have helped our youngest learners grow.

But it isn’t just the nursery children who have grown. Throughout the year our year 6 buddies have shown outstanding leadership, responsibility, empathy, communication and resilience. Showing what true ambassadors for the school you really are.

As you move on to your next chapters, remember the friendships you made and take knowledge that you have made a difference in each others lives. ❤️

Are hearts are full after an afternoon filled with laughter smiles excitement, friendship, and so much love.

The Squirrels class is such a special place. It’s where so many children take their very first steps into education where lifelong friendships begin, confidence grows and families come together to become one amazing community.

Today reminded us that nursery is about so much more than learning. It’s about creating memories building relationships and sharing those special moments together.

We are incredibly lucky to have such wonderful children but we are just as lucky to have such supportive, kind and caring families. The children are who they are because of the love encouragement and dedication you give them every single day.

Thank you for joining us at the end of year picnic and for making it such a special celebration we hope you enjoyed every moment as much as we did. Here’s to an amazing year together and all the exciting adventures that lie ahead. ❤️

Our week started with an email from Mrs Boffa asking us for ideas on how we can show the new reception children where to go.

Ideas included: an advert, picking up everyone on the mini buses, instructions and maps.

We walked around the school exploring important areas that we thought would be important to know about and photographers and note takers captured our ideas. We then explored maps and found symbols and to find out about these symbols we could look at a key. By the end of the week, we had all the information we needed to create our own maps and share our ideas with Mrs Boffa.

Our week built on our understanding of the world, the importance of marks and giving them meaning and off course oracy. The ability for us to share and develop ideas through talk.

What a fantastic first adventure Foxes Class had at Grain Alpaca farm.

We laughed, we learned and we even got a little bit wet thanks to the rainy weather — but nothing could dampen our excitement! ☔️😊

The children had a wonderful time discovering more about bees 🐝, meeting alpacas 🦙 and exploring the world around them. Foxes showed such amazing confidence, courage and respect throughout the day, making us all incredibly proud.

A huge well done to our Foxes for embracing every moment of their special trip — a brilliant memory to treasure! 🦊💛
