Our Level 2 learners were lucky to have Tom from Naturally Learning come to visit our St Austell campus to do a resource-free Forest School session 🍀 Learners embraced the experience and lots of laughter was had, as well as some running, climbing and risk-assessing. Thank you Tom! Cornwall College

We were very lucky to have some children from Baby Bugs Nursery, St Austell come up to use some of our lovely new T-Level resources here at Cornwall College, St Austell. We have been able to use our T-Level funding to purchase these and as you can see, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves! We can't wait to have you back again soon 😀

Congratulations to our Level 3 second years at Cornwall College St Austell on their 100% pass rate in their recent external assessment! All learners have worked incredibly hard over the last 2 years which is shown in their results. The whole team are incredibly proud! Here's a recent picture of 2 of these learners on their trip to the aquarium before the Easter break.

Recently, our Level 2 learners from Cornwall College St Austell went to visit Boscawen Park to complete some work on risk assessments and using the outdoor environment effectively to support child development, as part of their T-Level Foundation year. As you can see, they all enjoyed the drier weather!

Today Cornwall College Level 1 Vocational Academy students have been creating puppets to use with children in practice as part of their childcare units. Really great puppets which we will now use next term with visiting children to our onsite créche.

The team here at St Austell had a very busy last few weeks of term! In between students finishing their courses- which they all worked incredibly hard for- we had Alfie from Nurtured Nursery, Lostwithiel come to visit us. Alfie completed his Level 3 course with us last year and came back to share his experiences of his role as an EYP and answer any questions from our students. Some of our students then went to Flambards as part of a rewards trip for their hard work in college. Students then finished college and the team had a week of training and reflecting on the academic year ready for September, as well as a very successful Careers Fest! As you can see, all the marking and IQA meant Julie and Caroline needed to have a sneaky nap in between all the reflecting and improving! We hope you are enjoying the summer break!
