For those hotter days and nights, here is a reminder of our hot nights information for any new followers πβ€οΈ
For any pregnant mamas stick your feet in a cool bucket of water π§ and have an ice lolly π¦π§π
πHow to try and keep cool on a HOT nightπ
Many parents worry about their young ones when the weather is very hot!
Here are our top tips!
βοΈPrevention - Try to keep bedrooms cool during the day by closing windows and curtains/blinds (open windows when the hot air has cooled)
Try not to use dark curtains/blinds. Try using a reflective material/colour
βοΈUse a fan in the room to circulate the air (make sure this is a safe distance from little fingers with leads out of reach too - do not aim directly at a baby)
βοΈHang wet towels or sheets in the room. This will add moisture to the air and may help to cool the room further. Or...
βοΈPlace frozen bottles in front of a fan (again, please make sure this is out of reach of children and that any excess water is collected safely by standing bottle on a plate or towel) π§
βοΈGive your little one a cool bath before bed and dress them in lighter clothing or just a nappy. If using a sleeping bag, please see the manufacturers guidance for the best tog for the correct temperature π
βοΈWhen checking babies' temperatures, do so by touching the back of their neck or tummy - NOT the hands or feet as these will be colder πΆπΌ
βοΈIf they are sweaty or clammy, remove layers if possible
βοΈIf your baby is unwell, do not be tempted to cover them up
βοΈStay hydrated π¦

πΆβ¨ WHY SOCKS ONLY IN BABY SENSORY? β¨πΆ
Did you know the outside of an average pair of shoes can carry around 421,000 bacteria! π€’π
Think about everywhere your shoes have been β pavements, car parks, toilets and shops β and then imagine bringing all of that into our play area! π«£
Our little ones are exploring, crawling, rolling and playing on our floors, so we ask everyone to please remove shoes and wear socks when entering Baby Sensory. π
π Shoes OFF
𧦠Socks ON
π Letβs PLAY! πΆ
Donβt forget your socks! π

ππ IT'S KINDA CHIC.... ππ
I know how lucky I am to absolutely adore my job. I feel so grateful to run these special classes and that I get to see you and your babyβs every single week. To call it a "Job" just feels so wrong as its so much more than that. Meeting you all, getting to know you, sharing stories, building and help build friendships, watching your babies grow in size, confidence, abilities... every single week is an absolute privilege π₯°
Thank you so much for choosing to join me on the mats, I dont think I can completely put into words how much it means β€οΈ
