I've been a massage therapist for over 25 years.

But for a long time, I wasn't very good at the BUSINESS bit.

I worked too many hours, said yes to pretty much everyone and tried to fit in more clients so I could earn more...

Then I got Chronic Fatigue and couldn't keep doing it.

Around the same time, the 2008 crash hit and suddenly I had to get much better at running and marketing my business.

So I did. (Sounds easy! It wasn’t!)

But I finally learned how to attract the right clients, get my pricing right and how to build a massage business that didn't rely on me working myself into the ground.

Such a relief!

Since 2019, I’ve helped other massage therapists do the same through the Massage Business Success Academy.

I don't live in London or a big city. So how can I charge that amount?

Why is someone who's never met me willing to pay £80 before they know whether my massage is any good?

Because when the right person finds my website or content, they instantly recognise themselves and their problem in what I'm saying.

So by the time they book, they're not comparing my price with the therapist down the road.

They've already decided they want me.

You can be an amazing massage therapist and still struggle if the right people never come through the door in the first place.
That’s why the words you use on your website are so important - and such a big part of what we do inside the Massage Business Success Academy.

Being fully booked meant long days, constant physical work and feeling like I could never take a break, or go on hols.

After working with hundreds of massage therapists, I’ve realised that most experienced therapists don’t actually want more clients:

They want the RIGHT clients - people who find them, understand their value and are happy to pay their prices.

They want to be known for something. To be the therapist people recommend with: “Oh, you need to see her. She’s the one who helps with…”

And they want to earn really good money from their massage business WITHOUT having to do 25 or 30 massages a week to make it happen.

That’s why I always going on about “quality over quantity.”

I’d much rather see you earning more from 12–15 lovely, well-matched clients a week than proudly telling me you’re “fully booked” and absolutely knackered but still skint!
