Exploring our feelings together. 🤍
In our Toddlers room, the children enjoyed an interactive story time reading the ' The Colour Monster' together. The story helped the children talk about different emotions and how they can change from day to day.
After the story, the children used an emotion wheel and puppets to share how they were feeling today. This fun activity encouraged them to recognise, express, and talk about emotions.

All aboard the creativity train! 🚂🎨🖌
Our babies have been having lots of fun creating their very own train using cardboard boxes, paint, paper, and a variety of arts and crafts materials.
They explored different textures, from smooth paint to crinkly paper and craft materials. Enjoying the sensory experience while developing their creativity. It was lovely seeing their imaginations come to life as they worked together to decorate and build their colourful train!

This weekend marks NHS Day, and our preschoolers have been celebrating by stepping into the important roles of doctors and nurses!
Our little helathcare heroes have been busy caring for their patients, carrying out health checks , bandaging with plasters, and looking after baby dolls with lots of love, kindness, and care. Through imaginative role play, the children have been developing empathy and communication.
A big thank you to all our NHS heroes for everything you do!!

We had an amazing time at the Rochdale Science Extravaganza! 🔬🧪✨
At our stall, visitors took on our fun "Trashketball" challenge! Participants picked an item from the trash box, answered three science questions, and sorted their item into the correct recycling bin to win a prize. 🗑️♻️🏆
Over at the Little Gems Private Nursery stall, children and families also enjoyed getting hands-on with some exciting science experiments! 🧫🌈
A massive thank you to the team at Rochdale Science Initiative C.I.C for inviting us to be part of such a fantastic event, and to everyone who stopped by to join in the fun. We loved sharing a day full of science, learning, and discovery with our community! 💙

Today is Asteroid Day🚀✨️, our preschoolers have been busy designing their very own rocket ships and getting creative through fun arts and crafts activities.
The children enjoyed using their imagination, exploring creativity, and developing their fine motor skills while creating their space inspired designs.
