The weather this week could not be more different from last week! This week mother nature is intent on wetting everyone.... last week we had to get a little more creative as we used water to stay cool!

Our babies enjoy using their bodies to climb, balance and make lots of noise! As they find out about the world being given a variety of opportunities to engage and explore, inside and outside is vital!

We always like to offer our children lots of opportunities to be outside, and engage with the world and we are now working with a local company to deliver forest school sessions for our Pre-schoolers. Their first session was a huge hit, despite the wet weather. The teacher was very impressed with their skill and resilience! They learnt about sticks and moss, climbed and hugged trees as well as sharing a story and playing predator and prey chasing games.

Using a range of materials, washing lines and pegs the children worked together to create a den in our garden. They had to talk and negotiate, use their fingers to open the pegs and clip the fabric on, but it was definitely worth it!

Using whisks to make bubbles is a good workout for our hands and arms, and lots of fun for our babies!
