Can I just say what a brilliant bunch of people you lot are? None of you have to pay to chase a round piece of leather around a grass pitch… but you do it anyway because we LOVE it!

What a game that was, and what an effort in that heat! Everyone played their part, and it really showed. Last year we raised about £1,200 for the cause, but this year… we smashed it with £1,579 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥲🥲 Absolutely brilliant.

A special shout-out to Tony for helping me get a few sponsors and for his generous donation. And of course, thanks to the Sunday football boys from Royton and Rochdale—and Livi for that wonder goal! ❤️

Join us for a 5K tomorrow at 6pm, meeting point is Entwisle Road.
We’ll head out along Entwisle Rd to Halifax Rd, turn left onto Red Lane, then up near Syke, past Syke Pond and the big field. From there, we’ll follow Mizzy Rd, then go down Heights Lane and Falinge Rd, cut down John Street and loop back to Entwisle Rd.
Nice steady pace, all welcome, come along for a good run and a catch-up!

Chewy went for a run this morning, and it was scorching already 26°C! He hit the trail from White House all the way up to the summit of Blackstone Edge. The heatwave made it tough, but the views and the experience were absolutely incredible, smashed it Chewy 💪

Me, Chewy, Rhys, Shalom and Dilu went for a 5K run last night the weather was hot but it was worth it, well done guys 💪

What a great run today! Big shoutout to Dewan, Limper, Sihab and Oli Khan. We hit 7k and the route was just perfect. Solid effort all around well done, everyone!

So this was my first ever AJ Bell Manchester Half Marathon! Big shoutout to Taz Ali, Abdul Wadud, Parves Miah and Shahid for all the support and training tips in the lead-up, seriously appreciated.

Things didn’t quite go to plan both calves cramped up around the 12k mark, so I had to ease off the pace. Didn’t manage a PB, but the main goal was just to keep going and finish strong. Crossed the line in around 2hr 41mins, super proud of that! Onwards and upwards from here 💪

The lads are back and smashing it! Zally, Chewy, Shalom and Lewis Wormald all stepped up for today’s 5K run. The weather was on our side and the energy was high with strong performances all round. Great to see the commitment and drive pushing everyone forward. Let’s keep that momentum going 💪

Chewy finally got back to running and smashed a 10k after ages, he took on some serious inclines too, Belfield, Albert Royd Street, Red Lane, Fieldhouse Road and even Drake Street and still managed to finish in 54 minutes. Not bad at all for a comeback, well done Chewy 💪

Chewy decided to swap the office walls for some fresh air today and smashed out a solid 4.63km solo hike during his lunch break all in the blazing heat! He wrapped it up in under an hour, even with stops to soak in the stunning views, well done 💪 😎
