We also enjoyed a visit to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, where the children had the opportunity to see lots of different animals up close. 🐐🐇🐴 We talked about the animals, watched how they moved, listened to the different noises they made and learned lots of fun facts along the way.
We also had a fantastic day out at Blackpool Zoo 🦁🐒🐘, discovering even more amazing animals and learning about them, what they eat and how they behave. The children loved observing the animals and watching them move, sharing their thoughts and questions. We even saw the new lion cubs 🦁🐯🐒🦍🐧
And for a change of pace, we enjoyed a cinema trip 🎬🍿 — a lovely opportunity to experience something different together and enjoy a special outing.

🌞 A little throwback to our summer adventures! 🌞
We packed our summer with lots of exciting experiences, from exploring local parks and seeing different animals, to discovering the world of transport at the Bury Transport Museum. The children loved seeing the steam engines, listening to the loud noises and learning about how things work. 🚂🚌 These experiences gave them opportunities to explore, ask questions, develop their vocabulary and understanding of the world, while building confidence through new experiences.
We also had a fantastic time at the Emergency Services Day at The Trafford Centre, where the children could sit inside emergency vehicles, dress up as emergency service workers and even have a go at practising CPR. 🚑👮‍♀️👩‍🚒 Experiences like these encourage imaginative play, confidence, communication and an understanding of the important roles people have within our community.

Rochdale council have a programme available to any families with children aged 3 and 4 (or those turning 3 this term). They are targeting those who are struggling with language and communication and/or literacy skills. The families will receive 4 home visits and be invited to 2 literacy events. More information can be found below.

When a child starts you always know there will a day when they have to leave and move on. It never makes it any easier whether the child has been here a few months or many years.
The children really do become so much more than “just a child in your care” — they become part of your little childminding family. 🏡💕

I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching this little lady grow, learn and reach so many milestones since she was 6 months old 🥰 Thank you for letting me be part of your little one's journey. Wishing you all the best in your new chapter 🌟

The children leave your setting, but they never leave your heart. 🥹❤️

Today we had a visit arranged from a bubbleologist who put on a fab show for us from lots of bubbles to giant ones. The children had so much fun running through them and popping them 😊

As the warm weather continues, this is a polite reminder that children should be bringing suncream with them so this can be topped up when necessary during the day. Thanks 😎

What a hot one it was this week! Shouldn't complain at having lovely weather but its been a challenge helping keep the children safe, hydrated and cool. They've coped amazingly well, particularly on the school runs 🥵 fuelled by plenty of ice pops, frozen yoghurts and water play 🌞
