Today at HAF Club, the children had a fantastic day out at the South Asian Heritage Festival at Rochdale Town Hall! 🎉

They had the opportunity to experience and learn about a variety of South Asian cultural traditions, including traditional dancing, delicious foods and beautiful traditional clothing.

The children then headed inside Rochdale Town Hall to explore the fantastic range of stalls and meet the wonderful stallholders. They took part in lots of fun activities, including bracelet making, colouring and knitting. 🎨🧶📿

It was brilliant to see the children getting involved, trying new things and enjoying the experience with their friends. They had an absolutely fantastic time! ❤️

A massive thank you to Paul Waugh MP for visiting our HAF Club! The children had a fantastic time and really enjoyed getting involved in the exciting science experiments. It was brilliant to see their curiosity and enthusiasm in action! 🔬🧪✨

When Hamlet returns home for his father’s funeral, he discovers his uncle Claudius has married his widowed mother, Gertrude. But when his father’s ghost reveals the truth about his death, Hamlet is drawn into a powerful journey of revenge, grief and introspection.

Health & You with Dr Baig 💙

We were delighted to welcome Dr Baig, Clinical Consultant in Acute Medicine and Urgent Care at Rochdale Infirmary, who has kindly committed to delivering monthly health education sessions for our Men’s and Women’s Groups.

This month’s session focused on hypertension (high blood pressure), including prevention, recognising early signs and symptoms, and understanding the best ways to manage the condition and medications effectively.

Following the outstanding success of our first session on osteoporosis, members once again had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, ask questions and gain valuable knowledge to help protect and improve their health.

We’re incredibly grateful to Dr Baig for sharing his expertise and supporting our community through these informative and engaging sessions.

We look forward to many more Health & You sessions, helping our community stay informed, healthy and well for longer. 💙
