As you are aware of the article in the news recently relating to a large milk processor and some major retailers trialling the product called Bovaer, which is a supplement that is fed to cows with the intent of supressing their methane emissions and reducing the environmental impact of cattle.



We would like to confirm that our supplier Cool Milk, and their suppliers are NOT taking part in this trial.

Last Friday the staff at nursery took part in a story telling competition which was observed by Michelle and jamie! 📕 📚 👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏽

The baby room planned their session around the story “that’s not my frog” were the children were encouraged to feel the different textures in the story along with frog props which each had a different texture, soft, stretchy and squashy!
At the end of the story the babies explored the different frogs and took part in the song 5 green and speckled frogs, thoroughly enjoying watching the frogs splash into the water! 🐸 🪵💧

The Tweenies planned their session around the story “Goldilocks and the three bears” 🐻
The children were all engaged and enjoyed joining in with repeated phrases and counting the bowls, chairs, beds and bears “1,2,3”
At the end of the story the children sang “when Goldilocks went to the house of the bears” 🎶
Once the session was over the staff planned a sensory activity using porridge, different sized bowls, spoons and some of the children even tried some honey. 🍯 🥣

The preschool staff planned their session around the story “handa’s surprise” 👩🏾‍🦱
the children really enjoyed talking about the different fruits, tasting them and talking about where in the world they are from. 🌍
Following on from this the children were able to explore the different fruits within the play dough area, exploring the different textures, tastes and smells. 🍊🍌🍍🥑
