🌳🩷💚 FULLY FUNDED LEVEL 3 FOREST SCHOOL LEADER OPPORTUNITY 💚🩷🌳
Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund , we are really excited to be able to offer somebody the chance to train as a Level 3 Forest School Leader, with around £1,300 of training and development fully funded.
Maybe education didn’t work out for you the first time around.
Maybe your own SEND needs weren’t understood, you were caring for somebody, life got in the way, or you never had the opportunity to gain the qualifications you wanted.
That does not mean you missed your chance.
You do not need GCSEs, A Levels or a fancy CV for this opportunity.
What you do need is the ability to manage the training independently.
The Level 3 qualification involves a substantial portfolio, coursework, evidence and deadlines outside of the practical training days, so although we do not require formal qualifications, you must be able to take responsibility for your own learning and complete the workload independently.
We can give you the opportunity, the funded training and a place to develop your experience, but you have to be ready to put the work in 🩷💚
We are much more interested in the person you are than the qualifications you have.
We want somebody who is kind, reliable, gets SEND, is happy to muck in and genuinely wants to become part of MiM. 🩷💚
💚 PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING 🩷
You do need to: 💚🩷
• Be 20+ (You need to be 21 and over to practice)
• Have experience working or volunteering with children and young people with SEND
• Be available every Tuesday, 5pm–8:30pm, in Rochdale Town Centre
• Be able to commit to volunteering with us for at least 18 months
• Be able to start as soon as possible
• Be available all day on 27th & 28th February 2027 and get yourself to Manchester
• Be able to attend 16 hours of in-person First Aid training in Rochdale
• Be able to manage your own learning, portfolio, coursework and deadlines independently

Helping us set up before families arrive.
Getting involved in activities with our children and young people.
Chatting, laughing, supporting, encouraging and building relationships.
Have thick skin 🤣
And yes... helping us tidy everything away afterwards too 😂
We don't want somebody standing at the side watching.
We want somebody who is happy to get involved and become part of our little MiM community 🩷💚

🩷 Outdoor First Aid
Your own Forest School clothing, footwear, kit and personal equipment will be your own responsibility, because everybody has different wants, needs and preferences.
