Stanney brook park with colouring, caterpillar finding. Cinema trip and Cowboy and Aatronauts trail. Picking vegetables out of the garden and baking vegetable muffins. Rochdale Town Hall for South Asian Heritage Festival for dancing and colouring.
Older children enjoyed water beans and magic plastic balloon making.

crafts

Week 2 Summer holidays

African theme due to Maria going to Uganda soon.
Story session at Oldham library, fruit and veg market for fruit salad making. Beach at Tod Gorden riggs, Dunwood Park visit and lots of crafts.

Week 1 Summer holidays

New park visit Kingsway, explored Oldham gallery new nature exhibition (link below), Loud soft play, Milnrow park for football and dragon crafts.

Insect week, that turned into insect fortnight because the children were so involved and interested in them. The vegetables are doing very well and the children are enjoying watering them and watching them grow.
