📢 A big shout out to our wonderful team who came after hours to attend our team meeting tonight. We appreciate all your hard work and dedication.

✳️Tonight we spent the evening diving into National Safeguarding updates. We reflected on recent serious case reviews linked to SEND/Early years settings, and our own policies/ procedures we follow in setting to keep our children safe.

💤 We updated our knowledge on the 2026 Safer Sleep Updates and how we implement these changes within our setting to ensure safety and consistency.

😊 We then spent the rest of the evening looking at Sensory Profile Assessments, how Sensory Processing difficulties can present and the de-escalation cycle. We reflected on children we support, sharing known triggers and strategies to support them in their regulation and when in in crisis.

❤️ A huge thank you to our team for their endless dedication and your Active involvement in today’s training. Our children are so very lucky to have you in their corner!

Wow, what a rollercoaster year! We would not have it any other way, of course! We say goodbye to our pre-school children today and wish them all the very best for their next adventure to school!

We are incredibly proud of each and every child and their families. You put trust in us to care for your most prized possession and although we may not always get it right, we learn and grow 🥰. Together we are the A team and biggest advocate for your children.

We are now prepping for a busy and adventurous summer!

You have filled our nursery with laughter, love, and moments we will treasure forever ❤️

What a lovely graduation it was for our willows children yesterday! To our Willows, always remember that you are capable, you are valued, and you are loved. Keep being curious, keep being kind, and keep being wonderfully, uniquely you.
Although we will miss you dearly, we couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved. We know you will continue to shine wherever your next adventure takes you.

Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to be part of the panel discussing SEND funding at the Nursery Management Show in Birmingham. It was such a pleasure to sit beside our chair and experts all wanting and fighting for the same outcomes for our children; inclusion and early intervention.

We are also delighted that the Inclusive Early Years Fund is coming! There is definitely recognition from those at the top that Early Years is a crucial part of a child's educational journey and it is vital we get it right from the beginning.

The show was such a great oppprtunity for networking and creating links across the country. I will certainly be attending next year!

Also, a big thank you to Bright Stars Childcare - Cleworth Road for being my chauffeur for the 6hr round trip! 😂

A huge thank you to our amazing staff team this week. Your hard work and dedication to our children does not go unnoticed. I hope you enjoyed your Starbucks - even the ones who ordered tea 🤪.

Also, the generosity of our parents and carers - wow. Ice creams, treats and crates of drinks, not just this week but every time you do....just because!

As a manager I am just blown away every day by my team, our children and families and community.
