Tikrarul Mahfudz Method.

The memoriser repeats the verses that are being memorised so that it can be done repeating one verse at a time or little by little until you can read it without seeing the Manuscripts.

This method is usually very suitable for those who have weak memory because it does not require heavy thinking.

Hitting Your Kids Increases Their Risk of Mental Illness

👉It is a shame and very unfortunate that there exists harshness in many schools teaching the Quran and punishing students.

👉The loving approach is what the religion of Islam has always preached and the prophet’s loving approach was commended in the Quran as well.

👉Many studies have shown that physical punishment including spanking, hitting and other means of causing pain  can lead to increased aggression, antisocial behavior, physical injury and mental health problems for children.

👉Ibn Khuldun mentions that beating and harshness to the students causes harm to them, especially if they are young children. It is a bad habit, and in turn, beating causes the children to inherit bad habits as well.

👉Those students feel oppressed and it causes them to lose energy. They feel lethargic and anxious, and this makes them into deceitful persons. Such students will lie just to avoid harshness and once they continue to lie it becomes a habit.

In the situation of memorizing the Quran, it was the love of the holy book that caused them to memorize it, however nowadays many students don’t know why they are memorizing the Quran and getting beat for it as well.

Factors that can inhibit someone in memorizing the Quran are as follows:

a) Many commit sin and immorality

b) Impatient, lazy and hopeless

c) Love the world and be too busy with it

d) Forgotten

e) Weak spirits and desires

1. Plan Your Daily Schedule. You Will, find out how much time you have.

2. Small fraction of 5/10 mins, when added, can be extremely precious.

3. Start from Fajr Prayer and end at the time you lie on your bed.

4. Calculate how much available time you have at different times of the day.

E.g (6:30 am—7:30 am = 1 hr after fajr)

( 2:15 pm-- 2:30 pm = 15 mins after lunch)

( 9:00 pm- 10:30 pm = 1:30 hrs before sleep)

(10 mins after each prayer)

5. Add up all these minutes.

6. Categorize this available time according to your own schedule and mind-set

Good = ( Fresh, happy, 100% concentration)

Medium = ( Slightly tired but attentive)

Bad = ( Extreme fatigue, not at all suitable for hifz).

7. Plan to do hifz and revising in the "Good" and "Medium" parts of the day.

8. Avoid doing hifz in "Bad" time as nothing will register in your mind.

9. You are better off doing resting/sleeping or doing something fun in "Bad" moment that will divert your mind and rejuvenate you for the rest of the day.

10. Set a goal according to your capability, Do not exceed your target.
