🦷✨ Learning All About Oral Health! ✨🦷

Our Biggest Learners have been learning all about the importance of looking after our teeth and keeping our smiles healthy! 😁🪥

As part of our oral health learning, the children had a special visit to our local dental surgery, where they had the opportunity to find out more about what happens when we visit the dentist and why regular dental check-ups are so important.

The children talked about brushing their teeth, healthy foods and drinks, keeping our teeth clean, and what the dentist does to help look after our smiles. They were also able to explore the dental environment and ask questions, helping to make visiting the dentist a familiar and positive experience. 💙

We are proud of our little learners for being so curious, confident and enthusiastic! 🌟

Hey parents! 👋 Today, our tiny explorers dove into a world of wonder as they discovered new textures, sounds, and scents! 👐✨

From cold squishy sensory bags, wet paint, crunchy sweet cornflakes, rustling foil, and even popping bubble wrap, our little ones engaged all their senses. 🥳👶 Watching them touch, smell, hear, and see opened up endless opportunities for learning and creativity!

Our Little Learners Meet Real-Life Heroes! 🚓👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

This week in preschool, our curious explorers dove into the exciting world of People Who Help Us! From firefighters to doctors, and even mail carriers, the children have been discovering how these everyday heroes keep our community safe and happy.

The highlight? A special visit from two friendly police officers! Our little ones were thrilled to see a real police van up close, try on hats, and even learn how the officers help keep everyone safe. There were lots of smiles, questions, and “wow” moments.

It’s amazing to watch our children’s eyes light up as they learn about kindness, bravery, and teamwork — all through the real people who serve and protect us. Thank you to our local heroes for inspiring our future helpers!

🌟 All About Me! 🌟

This week, our preschool children have been learning all about themselves as part of our All About Me theme, alongside our Think Equal programme. 🥰

Through fun, meaningful activities and conversations, we have been exploring what makes each of us unique. The children have been talking about their families, their likes and dislikes, their feelings, and the wonderful things that make them who they are.

Our Think Equal learning encourages children to develop self-awareness, confidence, self-esteem and a positive sense of identity, while understanding that everyone is important and deserves to be valued and respected. 💛

We have been celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion, helping the children recognise that although we may look different, have different experiences and enjoy different things, we all share the same right to feel safe, respected and included. 🌈

Our happy, thriving littlest learners are discovering more about themselves, appreciating others and learning that being different is something to celebrate! ✨
