Taking you back to last Friday... 🔙

Friends of Masham School hosted yet ANOTHER event, this time... an Outdoor Summer Disco! ☀️⛱️🕺💃

An evening filled with fun, lots of dancing and most importantly a water balloon fight to end off the disco 🔫🎈

I've never seen sooo many happy faces at once, the children couldn't of loved it anymore. We thank Friends of Masham School again for their continued support and look forward to see what they put on for us next time! 🥳

The children have blown us away today, what an incredible all round performance from every single one of them! 🤯

Thank you so much to all the parents for supporting the children, especially on another hot day ☀️ We are forever grateful for all your support 🌟

Well done to the Elephants on winning but... I wonder who will next years Sports Day?! 🐘🏅🏆

Saltburn completed ✅️

What an incredible day for all of Masham School! 🤯

Started the day off with sand castle building, fossil hunting and hole digging ⛱️

Then we were super lucky to have a visit from a lifeguard who works on Saltburn Beach. He talked us through some Water Safety and let us try on his equipment!

Finally to end off the day we went for ice lollies and ice creams 🍦🍨

Burn class took maths outside, in the shade, this afternoon -YES, Mrs Smithson made the children do maths, on a Friday afternoon, in 30° heat!

So, what did we find out?

We discovered our water shooters shoot a maximum distance is 13.5 metres - and if you stand in the way you get wet!
We also found, when a sponge is dunked in water and passed over and under children's heads and legs, over a 10 metre distance, in 2 minutes, the maximum capacity measured was 1litres 750 ml.
We compared capacity and the winning team got to soak the teachers.
By the end of the lesson, the moans and groans about a Friday maths lessons were a distant memory.

Great start to the day for Cover Class 😁

We've been practising our drama skills, showing off our king and queen walk, pretending to walk through treacle too! All of this is to help the children gain their confidence in performing.

We have some top performers on our hands here. Future actors for sure! 🌟

Family Fun Day complete ✅️

Wow, what can we say... so blown away by all the effort Friends of Masham School have put in to raise funds for our school playground! 🤯

Seeing the children show so much courage and resilience to push themselves through the sponsored walk was incredible. We could not be more proud of them! 🌟

Huge thank you to our year 5's and 6's who provided dessert for everyone whilst earning money for their 'Grow £5' Challenge 🎂🍰💸

Also one more BIG thank you to everyone who came and showed their support, without all of you none of it would of been possible 😎🥳
