We are working with the RNLI to raise awareness about the risks when entering open water. With further heatwaves expected, more young people are heading to the water to cool off. Tragically, this brings a sharp rise in drownings. During May half-term alone, 19 people lost their lives – including 14 teenagers. Anyone can drown. No one should.

We are providing additional shade through the school for the rest of the week. ☀️ All water filling stations have been fully serviced and checked and students are encouraged to keep hydrated, find the shade where possible and use allocated air conditioned areas at break and lunch times.

Stevensons will be in school during Induction Evening, next Monday 29th June in The Stables from 5.30pm. A range of school uniform and sportswear across all stocked sizes will be available in school for students to try on, purchase and take away on the day

Ringwood Art Department look forward to welcoming you all to our annual Summer Exhibition on Thursday 2nd July. This year titled “this. is. us”, the exhibition showcases the work of every Yr11 and y13 student who has completed a course in Art, Photography or Textiles.

We are deeply proud of the range, individuality and sheer hard work reflected in every piece that they have produced and can’t wait to share their achievements with you. We will open our doors at 5.30pm, all are welcome. In addition, sharing the evening with the always amazing Summer Concert means that you can experience a double dose of Ringwood student brilliance in one go. .is.us

⚠️Change of uniform this week⚠️

A reminder that as the weather is forecast to be very hot this week, students may come to school wearing their PE kit in accordance with our PE dress code.

‼️Please note that very short fashion-style shorts, such as 'Nike Pro' shorts, do not meet our PE dress code and are not permitted.‼️

We would also appreciate your support in ensuring that your child applies sun cream before school, brings additional sun cream if needed, and has a hat for PE and refillable water bottle with them each day. We will review the weather situation later this week and provide an update regarding arrangements for the following week.
