In some cases passing first time can be the best thing amongst peers, but doesn't always mean you will be the best driver.
I belive Jack Jones benefitted immensely failing his first test.
This didn't mean the second test would be easy.but it gave him time to reflect on the test he had done.
He came back composed, with better planning in situations that before he may not have seen and the opportunity to relax and actually enjoy it.

Jack Jones that is how you drive and that's why today will stay with you forever.
Amazing result.
