There’s still time to join the adventure! We have just a few spaces remaining on 17th, 18th, 20th and 24th August. Children will enjoy a day of woodland adventures, den building, campfire cooking, nature crafts, woodland games and exploring the great outdoors in a safe, nurturing environment. That’s not to say you have to work in a school to enjoy our team building days!

We have a selection of activities, ranging from creating pencils from elder, to traditional weaving or even axe throwing.

People keep asking me how I get our chickens back in their coop… don’t get me wrong, I’d love to leave them out until dusk, but it is a bit risky with all of our forest predators around. So here it is - MEALWORMS. A chickens favourite treat and I look like a chicken trainer 😂 🪱 🐓

Our chickens are now free roaming during our sessions. We do need to keep an eye on them because they need to be home before we leave the forest. If you see them please leave them be - cuddles only when they’re in their pen so they do not run off too far. Come and see us and the chickens roaming this week at our Wednesday and Friday stay and play.

Calling all men.

Join us at the forest to enjoy some time away from daily life, learn some new skills, and meet some new people.

Russell facilities our ‘Boars in the Woods’ session, he is knowledgeable and welcoming for anyone coming along for the first time.

We begin the sessions with an activity, this month will be axe throwing. You will get taught a few skills, then take turns to have a go. This is great for teamwork, time in nature and learning new skills.

We will finish the session with a campfire, for a friendly chat and cuppa.
