Welcome back to Rickmansworth School

As we prepare to begin the new academic year, we are pleased to welcome back our existing colleagues and extend a very warm welcome to all our new staff joining the Rickmansworth School community.

It is great to have everyone back and to welcome new colleagues across teaching, administration, technical and support roles. We are looking forward to the experience, skills and ideas that everyone brings to the School.

A new academic year is always a good opportunity to look ahead, build on the successes of the previous year and continue working together to support our students and our wider school community.

🎉 Celebrating GCSE success at Ricky! 🎓

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 11 students who have achieved excellent GCSE results, with over 80% achieving grades 9–5 in both English and mathematics.

These results are a testament to their hard work, resilience and resourcefulness, supported by our dedicated staff, families and wider school community.

Our new Year 7 students have had an amazing three days packed with PE, Art, Drama, Eco, Dance, English, Science, Maths and exploring Ricky! 🎨🏏🧪💃

It’s been fantastic to see new friendships grow, confidence build and everyone getting to know their future classmates.

Another brilliant day welcoming our new Year 7 students!

Today has been packed with exciting activities, from Art and Rounders to Dance, as well as getting out and about exploring Ricky! 🎨🏏💃

Most importantly, our students are already building new friendships, making memories and getting to know their future classmates before September. 🥰

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a successful and supportive school community? We are recruiting colleagues to join our dedicated support staff team.

We are currently recruiting for:
📌 Administrative Assistant – 37 hours per week - Term Time plus 5 days
📌 School Receptionist – 20 hours per week - Term Time plus 2 days

These roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the day-to-day running of the school, supporting students, colleagues, parents, carers and visitors while helping to create a positive learning environment.
