Some parents join when baby is just a few weeks old, others wait a couple of months. There’s no “right” time — your little one will enjoy the music, the singing, and that lovely bonding time with you at their own pace.

What a magical, joy-filled week it’s been! 🧸❤️

A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to our Teddy Bears’ Picnic sessions.

It was so lovely to see familiar faces, meet new friends, and welcome back families who can’t usually make it during term time. Seeing everyone together, along with all of your gorgeous teddy bears, made these sessions so special.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised £370 for Tommy’s, rising to £462.50 with Gift Aid. 💛 A special thank you too to everyone who is supporting my fundraising by donating through my JustGiving page.

A huge thank you also goes to Sally from Bedale Hall for kindly letting us use the Drawing Room free of charge today for our sessions. We are so grateful - it made such a difference to our day. 💛

Every pound raised will help Tommy’s continue their vital work supporting families through pregnancy and baby loss, funding lifesaving research, and giving hope to so many.

Today’s Great North Run training run ✔️🏃‍♀️

Another milestone ticked off today with a 9-mile long run! I’m so lucky to have my little sis by my side – she’s the best training partner… although definitely a bit of a taskmaster too! 😂

The Wensleydale hills are
challenging enough, but throw in the strong winds and it certainly wasn’t an easy one. Every mile is bringing me one step closer to the start line though, and whenever it gets tough I remind myself why I’m doing it.

I’m running to raise money for Tommy’s, the incredible charity dedicated to funding research into pregnancy and baby loss, miscarriage and premature birth. Knowing that every mile can help support such an important cause keeps me putting one foot in front of the other. 💙

I’m also really looking forward to seeing lots of you at our Musical Teddy Bears’ Picnic sessions this week:

💛 Did you know…? 💛

Before I started fundraising for Tommy’s, I knew they supported families after the heartbreak of losing a baby. What I didn’t realise was just how much they do to try to stop that heartbreak happening in the first place.

Every day in the UK, around 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. Thousands more families experience miscarriage or premature birth. Behind every statistic is a family whose lives are changed forever.

Tommy’s is the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby charity, funding life-saving research, campaigning for better maternity care, and providing expert support and trusted information to families throughout pregnancy. Their work is helping more babies arrive home safely, and giving hope to families when they need it most. 💙

As many of you know, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run later this year to raise money for Tommy’s, and next week’s
🧸Teddy Bears’ Picnic Sessions 🧸 are a way that, together, we can make a difference.
