🎶Important Darlington Class Update🎶
After 12 wonderful years of running Jolly Melodies and Jolly Babies classes in Darlington, I have made the difficult decision to step away from my Darlington licence area from September 2026.
This has not been an easy decision, and I am so grateful to the thousands of babies, toddlers, preschoolers and families who have been part of the journey. Thank you for your support, loyalty and the many special memories we have shared.
I want to reassure all current families that this ONLY affects the Darlington area. My North Yorkshire venues will all continue as normal with classes, events and parties running as always in Northallerton, Richmond, Bedale and Leyburn.
As I begin this new chapter, I am looking for someone special to take on the Darlington licence and build on everything we have created over the past 12 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves music and working with babies, toddlers and preschool children, and who wants to run their own business whilst making a real difference to local families. The brand has a strong reputation, a loyal customer base and excellent potential for growth. We have been running classes in Darlington for over 20 years and are so very well loved across the area.

Did you know that some of the most important learning for babies and young children happens through simple back-and-forth interactions with the people around them?
These “serve and return” moments happen when a child babbles, points, smiles or communicates, and an adult responds. Every interaction helps build the foundations for communication, social skills, emotional wellbeing and future learning.
Unlike TV and videos, real-life interactions are two-way. Children learn best when someone responds to them, joins in with them and helps them feel heard.
That’s why singing, chatting, playing and sharing experiences together are so valuable in the early years and why we love being part of this at Jolly Melodies. 🎶❤️
