KS2 have had a brilliant day with Chris from Open Door Art. They explored the work of Frida Kahlo and Giuseppe Arcimboldo and tried out their techniques. They used leaves to make prints and completed a self portrait using nature style prints as their final piece. Thanks Chris for a fab day!π¨ποΈπΌοΈ

Class 1 have worked super hard this morning creating their final moving monsters. The children made a series of linkages and used pivots so their monster could move. They then decorated their monsters and evaluated them, looking at what they liked and what they would improve.

Yesterday, Class 1 enjoyed following instructions to make jam sandwiches. After, we looked at the instructions and picked out the sequencing words, imperative verbs, adverbs, nouns and adjectives. Eating the jam sandwiches was the best part though!π₯ͺ
