Wow! What an incredible day we have had at the Summer Fair. The atmosphere was amazing and it truly reflects what Trinity is all about – our wonderful, vibrant community. It was so special to see families, staff, and friends come together, enjoying every moment and supporting one another.
A huge thank you to everyone for the generous donations, and to all those who helped set up, clear up, and keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. Your time, energy, and commitment did not go unnoticed – events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you.
And, of course, a final shout out must go to our incredible Friends Of Trinity Richmond. Thank you is truly an understatement. The planning, the hours of preparation, the dedication behind the scenes and yes – even the sleepless nights – all came together so beautifully today. Your passion and tireless efforts make such a difference to our school community, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
What a day to remember! ❤️

🚲Well done to our Year 6 pupils who took part in BikeAbility this week. Such an important skill to learn and keep you safe. Feedback from the instructors was incredibly positive about your biking abilities, behaviour and good manners. 🚲

Year 5 have had a brilliantly practical week of learning! ⭐
In maths, the children have been investigating 3D shapes, exploring how many faces, edges and vertices each one has. They also showed fantastic creativity by making their own non-standard 3D shapes, including a dodecahedron.
In science, we have begun our new topic on forces. This week, the children learned about Isaac Newton and gravity, building their understanding through hands-on investigation. Using Newton metres, they measured the weight of different objects from around the classroom and made some great observations.
A fantastic week of curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning!

We’ve had a wonderful week in EYFS exploring our capital city, London 🌆
The children have been learning about the similarities and differences between a town and a city, bringing their ideas to life through lots of hands-on activities. Our story of the week, The Queen’s Hat 🎩, inspired so much of our learning.
In Nursery, the children had great fun creating tissue paper wind sticks to swish and swoosh in the garden, just like the hat in the story 👒💨 They also enjoyed role-playing on a London bus 🚌, taking turns to be the driver and stopping at famous landmarks like Big Ben and Tower Bridge.
We saw fantastic teamwork as the children collaged and layered materials to create their own towns, choosing what features to include. There was also some creative painting, using straws to blow the paint and represent the wind from our story 💨🎨
In Reception, maths came to life as the children used skittles, part-whole models and Numicon to explore different ways of making 5. This afternoon, they created their own London buses through printing and collage, revisiting the landmarks they might see on a journey around the city.
To top it all off, the children baked the Queen’s favourite treat—shortbread 🍪 They carefully measured, mixed, rolled and decorated their biscuits before enjoying them as a well-earned afternoon snack.
A brilliant week full of creativity, teamwork and learning! ⭐

⭐️Year 1 & 2 had so much fun yesterday at Thorp Perrow Arboretum 🌳
In the morning, the children worked together to identify different types of trees by carefully examining the bark, leaves and fruits. They discussed how trees change throughout the seasons and impressed our tour lead by sharing their own knowledge and facts. The children then enjoyed an exploring trail, where they completed a nature bingo activity, spotting a variety of plants and animals – including lots of squirrels! 🐿️
In the afternoon, the excitement continued with the bird of prey show, followed by visits to the wallabies and meerkats. The highlight for many was discovering that some of the wallabies were carrying babies in their pouches 🥺☺️. To finish the day, everyone had great fun exploring the adventure playground.
👏 Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour throughout the trip!

It was especially lovely to see some new faces joining us too – you are all so welcome. ❤️
We hope to see you again next Monday at 9.30am for our next session!
