🌿🌳 A morning of adventure, imagination & getting stuck into nature!🦆🪵

We absolutely LOVE getting outdoors at Happy Days💚 There’s something so special about giving children the freedom to climb, explore, create, discover and simply enjoy being in the natural environment around them.

This morning we headed to Rhuddlan Nature Reserve to explore the community, and what a morning we had! 🌳✨

The children got stuck into everything they could find — climbing trees, building amazing dens, creating bug hotels, making swings with ropes, feeding the ducks and swans, and searching for all the wonderful little treasures that nature had to offer. 🐛🦢🍃

What we love most is watching their imaginations come to life. A stick becomes a tool, a fallen branch becomes part of a den, a rope becomes a swing, and suddenly the children are working together, problem-solving, creating their own games and turning the great outdoors into their very own adventure playground. 🌿💫

There were muddy hands, feet, big smiles, plenty of teamwork, lots of laughter and so many moments of “look what I’ve made!”💚

We’re so lucky to have beautiful natural spaces right on our doorstep, and we absolutely love making the most of them. 🌳💚

Today we said goodbye to one of our amazing children as they begin an exciting new chapter at high school. 🌟

We'll miss you so much and are so proud of everything you've achieved. Wishing you all the very best for the future—good luck on your next adventure! 💚

🧸🐻 Teddy Bears' Picnic Fun! 🐻🧸

Today, our Tweenie Room and Blue Group enjoyed a wonderful Teddy Bears' Picnic! Off we went with our favourite teddy bears for a morning full of adventure, laughter, and fun. 🌞

We loved listening to stories, playing hide-and-seek, running, jumping, and climbing together. Then it was time to tuck into our delicious Teddy Bears' Picnic, sharing lots of yummy treats with our friends and our cuddly companions. 🧺🍎🧸
It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces, happy giggles, and special memories being made.

What a fun-filled morning we all had! 💙✨

☀️💜 One last adventure together... 💜☀️

Following our wonderful graduation yesterday, our preschool children enjoyed one final trip together to one of our favourite places – the beach and our very own "Stonehenge."

With the sunshine still shining, we spent the morning doing what children do best... laughing, running, taking turns and making memories. We played our favourite chasing game with the graduation hat, danced on the beach to our favourite song, Golden, and finished with lots of spinning, giggles and smiles.

Sometimes it's the simplest moments that become the most special.

Thank you, Preschool Class of 2026, for all the laughter, friendships and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of every one of you and wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin your next adventure at big school. You'll always have a special place in our hearts. 💜🌊🎓

🎓✨ Preschool Graduation 2026 ✨🎓

What a truly wonderful morning we had celebrating our amazing preschool graduates! 💜

A huge thank you to all of our families for coming along and making the day so special. We were incredibly lucky with the sunshine, and it was lovely to celebrate together in the garden with yummy cakes, popcorn, lots of smiles, and, of course, certificates and trophies for our fantastic children.

Our preschoolers were an absolute credit to themselves. They were so well behaved, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them.

Thank you so much for all of the beautiful cards and thoughtful gifts. Your kindness means so much to us, and we really do appreciate every gesture.

To our wonderful graduates, thank you for filling Happy Days with laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories. It has been a privilege to watch you grow into confident, kind and caring little people. We know you'll take everything you've learnt at Happy Days with you as you begin your exciting adventure at big school in September.

We wish you all the very best for the future. Keep smiling, keep learning and always believe in yourselves. We will miss you all very much. 💜

🌊🏖️ A Day of Beach & Under the Sea Adventures! 🐠🐚

Tweenie Room had a fantastic time exploring all things beach and ocean! 🌊

We began by investigating our "At the Beach" light-up sensory tray, where the children loved scooping and pouring sand, discovering a variety of sea animals, and exploring shells, boats, and other beach treasures. There were lots of exciting conversations as the children investigated everything they found, using their curiosity and imagination throughout their play. 🦀🐢⭐

We also got creative by free-painting our favourite Under the Sea creatures! 🎨 From whales and seahorses to starfish and more, the children enjoyed choosing their own colours and bringing their sea friends to life. Of course, the paint didn't just stay on the pictures—we even ended up painting ourselves too! 🤣 There were plenty of messy hands, big smiles, and lots of giggles along the way. 🐋💙

These activities supported the children's fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, imagination, confidence, and communication, all while learning through play.

We had a wonderful time full of sensory exploration, creativity, and ocean-themed fun, and we can't wait for our next adventure! 🌊🐚💙

What a way to end the week! 💦☀️

The after-school children had an absolute blast tonight with a good old-fashioned water fight! Armed with fairy liquid bottles, buckets of water, and lots of enthusiasm, there was plenty of splashing, laughter, and smiles all around.

There really is no better way to end the week than a night full of fun, friendship, and making wonderful memories together! 💙😊

💦☀️When the children in preschool started talking about ways to cool down in the warm weather, they came up with the perfect solution-a water fight!

Armed with good old-fashioned washing up liquid bottles filled with water, the children took to the garden and let the battle commence! There was lots of laughter, plenty of splashes, and even the aunties got involved in the fun.

A wonderful child-led morning making memories, staying cool, and enjoying the sunshine together!💙

🚗🫧Child inspired learning at its best!🫧🚗

After the children shared that a car wash was one of their favourite activities, we worked together to create our very own tuff tray car wash this afternoon!

Using soapy water, brushes and even paint rollers to recreate the car wash experience, the children enthusiastically cleaned and explored. When they asked for even more bubbles, we made our own bubble mixture and discovered a new way to play-placing cars inside cups, blowing bubbles around them, and rolling bubbles off the cars!

A wonderful afternoon full of imagination, teamwork, problem solving, and creativity, all inspired by the childrens own ideas. ✨
