πŸ”οΈ Mountain Adventures, Games and Garden Fun 🐻🌿

Our Adventure Cove children enjoyed a lovely day filled with creativity, friendship and child-led play as our mountains and forests theme continued πŸ’šβœ¨

The children got creative painting their own mountain scenes, with one wonderful picture even featuring a bear climbing its way to the top! πŸŽ¨πŸ»πŸ”οΈ

There was lots of social play throughout the day as the children enjoyed games of Snap, Uno and Guess Who, taking turns, following rules and sharing plenty of laughs together. The cafΓ© was also busy, with children preparing pretend meals, taking orders and serving their friends πŸ½οΈπŸƒ

Outside, everyone joined in with What Time Is It, Mr Wolf? before finding a rather inventive way to relax – turning wooden planks into their very own sunbeds! β˜€οΈπŸ˜‚ The children also continued yesterday’s teddy bear picnic fun with another lovely tea party together πŸ§Έβ˜•

Construction play brought plenty of determination too, as the children carefully balanced blocks and kept trying each time their creations toppled over 🧱✨

A wonderful day full of imagination, perseverance, friendship and learning through play πŸ’šπŸŒΏ

🌲 Forest Art, Imagination and Quiet Moments 🌲

Our Discovery Den children enjoyed another lovely day exploring our forest theme through creativity, imagination and calm outdoor experiences 🌿✨

The children used watercolour paints to create their very own forest pictures, exploring colour, brush strokes and their own ideas as they brought their woodland scenes to life πŸŽ¨πŸƒ

There were also lovely child-led moments of imaginative play, with the children turning everyday spaces into their own adventures – even pretending they had discovered a slide! 😊

🌿 Creativity, Kindness and a Little Bit of Science 🌿

Our Adventure Cove children enjoyed a wonderful day filled with creativity, friendship, curiosity and lots of child-led fun πŸ’šβœ¨

The children got creative with campfire pictures, handmade cards for their families and even their own walkie-talkies, carefully cutting, sticking, colouring and decorating their creations. One very special idea even saw a favourite duck teddy given its very own handmade carrier! πŸ”₯πŸ’ŒπŸ“žπŸ¦†

There were some beautiful friendship moments too, with children snuggling up together in our cosy room to share stories, reading to one another and simply enjoying being together under blankets and pillows πŸ“šπŸ’•

Our teddy bears’ picnic brought everyone together for food, songs and lots of laughter before turning into a brilliant dance party! From I’m Still Standing to A Million Dreams, the children jumped, danced and sang their hearts out – the perfect way to end the day 🧸🧺🎢

Circle time also sparked some fantastic curiosity as the children talked about the eclipse and discovered how the moon can move in front of the sun. We discussed why we must never look directly at the sun and created simple viewing boxes so the children could explore the idea of observing it safely πŸŒ™β˜€οΈπŸ“¦

A lovely day full of kindness, imagination, discovery and memories made together πŸ’šβœ¨

🌿 Free-Flow Adventures and Child-Led Discoveries 🌿

Our Discovery Den children enjoyed a lovely day of free-flow play, moving between indoors and outdoors and following their own interests throughout the day πŸ’šβœ¨

Outside, there was lots of wonderful messy and sensory play. The children explored natural materials, mixed and stirred different ingredients together, dug in the mud and used tools and utensils to create their own imaginative recipes and experiments 🌸πŸ₯£πŸŒΏ

There were also plenty of opportunities for problem-solving and creativity, from cutting and exploring natural resources to building with loose parts and investigating how different pieces could fit and work together πŸͺ΅πŸ§±

Inside, imaginative play continued as the children used open-ended resources in their own ways, creating stories, experimenting, pretending and sharing ideas with friends. It was lovely to see so much concentration, independence and curiosity across the different areas.

A wonderful day where the children were free to explore, create, investigate and learn at their own pace 🌿✨

🌿 Forest Fun, Mud Kitchen Magic and a Special Delivery 🌿

Our Adventure Cove children enjoyed another lovely day filled with creativity, imagination and child-led adventures πŸ’šβœ¨

The children spent time collecting leaves of different shapes and sizes from the garden before using crayons to create beautiful leaf rubbings. It was a lovely way to slow down, notice the details in nature and explore different patterns and textures πŸƒπŸ–οΈ

The mud kitchen was full of imagination as the children worked together to create some very β€œevil tea”, carefully choosing ingredients and adding their own wonderfully dramatic ideas to the mix πŸ˜ˆβ˜•πŸŒΏ

There was also time to simply relax and enjoy the sunshine. Using loose parts, the children created their own sunbeds, lay back together and enjoyed a peaceful moment in the garden β˜€οΈπŸ’š

One very special moment today was waiting for the post lady to arrive with a brand-new book. The excitement was wonderful to see as the parcel was received with a big thank you before being opened straight away. Of course, there was only one thing to do next… find Tracey and settle down to enjoy The Last Noo-Noo together πŸ“¦πŸ“šβœ¨

A wonderful day full of nature, imagination, friendship and special little moments πŸŒΏπŸ’š

🌲 Forest Adventures, Campfire Cooking and Loose Parts Play 🌲

Our Discovery Den children enjoyed another lovely day exploring our forest theme through imaginative, sensory and child-led play 🌿✨

The mud kitchen became a woodland campsite, where the children created their own pretend soups using leaves, petals, lemons and natural ingredients. They mixed, stirred and served their creations in bowls and pans, using their imaginations as if they were cooking together outdoors πŸ‹πŸƒπŸ₯£

There was plenty of hands-on exploration in the mud pit too, with digging, scooping and messy play supporting physical development and curiosity about the natural world 🌱

Inside, the children enjoyed construction and loose-parts play in the gross motor area, building, balancing and creating their own ideas together 🧱✨

Our forest interest table also sparked lots of imagination, with leaves, petals, wooden pieces and multicultural figures helping the children create their own small-world stories and explore different people and environments 🌍🌿

Our Peek-a-Boo babies enjoyed a lovely day filled with sensory play, outdoor exploration and child-led learning πŸ’šβœ¨

Play-Doh was a big favourite as the babies kneaded, squashed and moulded the dough into different shapes. Outside, they continued exploring with water play and forest-themed Play-Doh, developing their fine motor skills, creativity and confidence through hands-on play πŸŒΏπŸ’¦

There were some lovely individual moments too, from carefully studying reflections in the mirror and noticing different features, to building tall towers with rainbow blocks and concentrating hard to balance each piece πŸͺžπŸŒˆ

Water play brought lots of smiles and excitement, with plenty of splashing and shared fun with friends πŸ’¦πŸ˜Š

To finish the day, the babies came together for a calm group story time, sitting beautifully, listening carefully and enjoying the book together πŸ“šβœ¨
