Our Flying start department had lots of fun at their Christmas party today, there was lots of dancing, food and it would not be Christmas without a visit from Santa with a little something from all the team.🎅🎁

Today our Preschool department made the most of the recent weather and got involved in a little risky play.

The children took it in turns to use the hammer to break some of the ice that had formed in the nursery garden, we then used food colouring to experiment with colour, cause and effect, the children had a wonderful time and had lots of exciting things to discuss together, what happened to the ice as it "smashed, broke, exploded" .

What an amazing Christmas dinner cooked by our on site chef, the children and staff really enjoyed every last bite. 🎅

Everyone at Hannah's House would like to congratulate Our Deputy Manager Dan and her Husband Brook, on the wonderful news that they are expecting a baby 👶, due April 2023, you are going to be amazing parents👫

We all can't wait to meet the little bundle of joy and look forward to having a cuddle🤗🫶

😃Today the older children have been learning about Bonfire night and how to keep safe, they have created some wonderful pictures and even made their own fireworks🎇

From all of us at Hannah's House we would like to wish all the children leaving to go on their next big adventure all the luck in the world, it has been a pleasure to look after you all, we will miss each and everyone of you.🥹

Myself, Dan, Sherie and all the staff would like to thank you all for the wonderful gift's we really will miss all the children🥰

Wow 🤩 what a treat for all the children after lunch today, they enjoyed an ice cream from the ice cream man and even picked it themselves, thank you Mister Softee U.K. Ice Cream Vans, Ice Cream Van Hire, it was needed and enjoyed in this heat.

We hope you are all coping in the heat 😎

😎 Update:- With the impending hot weather next week, can we please ask that all children are dressed appropriately ( Light comfortable clothing),

we also will be

* Keeping all windows open and blinds and curtains closed.
* Cold ice water will be on offer and given throughout the day.
* We will be staying indoors to help keep children's temperatures regulated.
* We will be offering plenty of water play with lots of splashing.

What can we say it has truly been a pleasure to look after your children, we know they are more than ready to start their next adventure into big school🎒🥹
