Welcome, Xinxin! 🌟

Today we were delighted to welcome our new Mandarin Language Assistant, Xinxin, to RHS. Some of our Year 7 and Year 9 pupils enjoyed their first Mandarin sessions and showed great enthusiasm, engagement and curiosity throughout.

We are excited to continue exploring the Mandarin language and Chinese culture, and our pupils are already looking forward to the next session!

👨‍🍳 Year 10 Get Cooking with the Army! 👩‍🍳

Yesterday, we welcomed the Army to school for a fantastic cooking session with our Year 10 pupils!

Our pupils were split into three groups and challenged to create a starter, main course and dessert, using the ingredients provided. 🍽

There was plenty of teamwork, creativity and, of course, some delicious food along the way!

A huge well done to all our Year 10 pupils who got involved and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 🍛

Today our Head Boy & Girl attended the Citizens Advice Denbighshire AGM where they presented about Student Leadership at Rhyl High School as part of their project around developing a Youth Advisory Board to help signpost families to support available in the local community.

Citizens Advice Denbighshire have commended our pupils for their presentation and leadership skills. Da Iawn pawb!
