What better way to enjoy this beautiful weather than getting outside and spending time in our gardening area?🌼

To mark the first week of June, we got busy planting lots of colourful flowers and giving our garden a fresh summer makeover☀️

The sunshine, fresh air, and teamwork made for a wonderful day, and we can’t wait to watch everything bloom over the coming weeks🌻💚

North Wales Police are holding their Open Day at Police HQ in Colwyn Bay on Saturday 23rd May from 10am–5pm — and it’s FREE!

This year’s theme is Road Safety, with loads going on for all ages including:

🐶 Police dog displays
🚁 Police helicopter (subject to availability)
🚓 Emergency vehicles & specialist units
🚴 Children’s cycle safety activities
🚒 Fire & Rescue demonstrations

A great family day out and a chance for kids to see the emergency services up close.

We were touched this week when we came across a post from pupils at Ysgol Dewi Sant…

The school council, made up of Year 6 students, had been working hard to start a Chess Club but needed donations to help make it happen♟️

We were so touched by the effort the group had gone to, establishing the club, presenting the idea to their headteacher, and creating social media posts asking for support, that we decided to donate four brand-new chess boards from Summerhouse.

We look forward to seeing how they get on😊

A reminder that the week commencing 25th May is Half Term. If you require any childcare, please message as soon as possible to secure your days.

Monday 25th May is also a Bank Holiday, therefore we will return on Tuesday 26th May😊

There will be no Flying Start sessions during the Half Term week.
