Edward Austin misses 1st v60 by just 1 sec, 54 secs faster than last year

Oliver Birch comes a fantastic 2nd in Deestriders off road grand prix, beating his PB again. He's jumped 1 min in 2 months.
Jody Beech runs a 50 sec course PB

Tom Sirett finishes a close 3rd in the mile race in a new 4.52.7 PB.
Paul Buckley comes 2nd in his 3000m race in 11.29. A 12 secs PB.

A fantastic morning at the Huxley 5 mile.
Mark Gittins representing Cheshire ran an amazing 25.56 PB by 39 secs, helping Cheshire win the County match.
The in form Mike Fryer continued his great running with 26.15 PB by a massive 48 secs.
Ben Rowlands also ran a great 27.56 PB by 48 secs.
Tom Sirett just behind in 28.02 equalling his PB.
Eddie Austin who I have just started coaching and has not missed a day's training in his 2 weeks ran a fantastic 33.38. Only 14 secs off his PB from 2 years ago and just 2 weeks of steady low mileage.

What a fantastic afternoon it was at the Shrewsbury 5k on Saturday.
The extreme heat never put them off. Times were of no significance. 30 secs slower with the heat, which shows the intensity to be thst slow over 5k.
Joe Boden and Mark Gittins running for England, and James Yarwood for Wales in the International vets race.
Mark got 3rd V45. Joe 4th V35, only 12 secs away from the winner.
Mike Fryer had a fantastic run in the open race, proving he's definitely in sub 16 shape.
