Today, we want to say a massive thank you to all the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, and special role models who make our little learners smile every single day. Thank you for all the laughs, the bedtime stories, the drop-off hugs, and everything you do behind the scenes. You are your little one's real-life superhero! ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธโœจ
We hope you got to kick back, relax, and enjoy a fantastic day being thoroughly spoiled. You truly deserve it! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿง

๐Ÿฆ– What a ROAR-SOME week of dinosaur fun! We were living in the Jurassic period last week ๐Ÿฆ•
Our little palaeontologists had a fantastic time learning all about the prehistoric world through lots of hands-on, messy play. Hereโ€™s a look at what we got up to:
๐Ÿ”จ Rescued baby dinos from their eggs using hammers
๐ŸงŠ Worked hard to free dinosaurs trapped in ice
๐ŸŒ‹ Conducted a cool science experiment to make bubbling lava
๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Went on an exciting scavenger hunt to find hidden dinos
๐Ÿฅฃ Whipped up prehistoric treats in our dinosaur mud kitchen
๐Ÿงช Sorted dinosaurs into colours using tweezers for fine motor practice
Safe to say, it has been a week full of big imaginations, excitement and amazing curiosity! ๐Ÿฆ•๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿฆ•

Our babies had a fantastic time exploring dinosaurs in the mud kitchen today! ๐Ÿฆ–๐ŸŒพ
Even our tiniest joined in the prehistoric fun! They could barely reach, but they managed brilliantly and didn't let that stop them from digging right in! ๐Ÿฆ•
They made such a lovely mess, but we love it! Even though theyโ€™re still finding their voices, they were communicating so much in their own wayโ€”lots of babbles, big smiles, and plenty of dinosaur roars!
๐Ÿฆ• Sensory play like this is amazing for their little hands, brains, and confidence. Muddy hands definitely mean happy hearts ๐Ÿ’• ๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿฆ•

๐ŸŒŠ Diving into World Ocean Day! ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’™

Last week, our little explorers became true ocean protectors with hands-on sensory play! Hereโ€™s what we got up to:
๐Ÿงผ The Eco-Rescue: The children saved ocean animals trapped in "pollution" during water play and gave them a thorough wash!
๐Ÿฌ Ocean Facts: We learnt about different sea creatures, what they eat, and shared our favourites.
๐Ÿ”จ Cornflake Sand: We used hammers to crush cornflakes, making our own sand for mark-making.
๐Ÿš Play Dough Art: The children finished the week with beautiful shell prints in our sand play dough.

We are so proud of our creative young ocean guardians! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿฆ€โœจ

โ˜€๏ธ Sun, smiles, and loads of fun!
What an absolutely fantastic half-term we had! We packed so much joy, creativity, and outdoor exploration into our week. Here are some of our favourite highlights:
๐ŸฆŽ Visit from Scaly Safariโ€“ Our very best scaly friends returned for more fun and learning, our very best holiday treat!
๐Ÿ’ฆ Water Play โ€“ Making the most of the gorgeous hot weather by splashing around and staying cool.
๐Ÿงšโ€โ™€๏ธ Fairy Garden Messy Play โ€“ Magic was in the air as we hunted for hidden fairies.
๐Ÿฅ• Mud Kitchen Cooking โ€“ Our little chefs were busy chopping up real vegetables to whip up the finest mud stews.

๐Ÿ We are officially buzzing with excitement! ๐Ÿ
To celebrate World Bee Day this week, our little learners started a very special journey towards earning our Bumblebee-friendly Early Years Award with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust! ๐ŸŽ‰Our busy bees have been hard at work:
โœจ Exploring fun, bee-themed sensory activities
๐ŸŒธ Making handmade "bee bombs" (wildflower seed balls) to take home to plant in their gardens.
๐Ÿง  Learning all about why these fuzzy little helpers are so important to our planet
We are so proud of how enthusiastic the children are about protecting nature. Keep an eye out for more of our upcoming bee-friendly adventures! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

Even more amazing? This is our THIRD year in a row winning this award! ๐Ÿฅณ Itโ€™s all based on the lovely reviews from our families, which makes it so much more special to us.
A huge shout-out to our superstar staff for everything they do, to our lovely children who make every day an adventure, and a MASSIVE thank you to our wonderful parents for your endless support. We truly have the best community! ๐Ÿ’›

Look whoโ€™s finally awake! ๐Ÿฆ”๐Ÿ’ค
The children are absolutely delighted to have Prickles the Hedgehog back with us after his long winter sleep. Itโ€™s so lovely to see his little face againโ€”a sure sign that spring is here! ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

๐ŸŒ At nursery we celebrate Earth Day every day! ๐ŸŒฟ
We believe that teaching our little ones to love and respect the planet starts with small, daily habits. For us, sustainability isnโ€™t just once a yearโ€”itโ€™s how we live, play, and grow together every single day.
From the moment our children arrive, they are learning what it means to be a "friend to the earth." Hereโ€™s a look at how we stay green:
๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ The Journey Matters: We walk to school! Itโ€™s a great way to start the day with fresh air while keeping our local environment clean.
๐ŸŽ Farm-to-Table Snacks: Our tummies are kept happy with incredible farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. We even enjoy freshly laid eggs, helping the children understand exactly where their food comes from and the importance of supporting local producers.
โ™ป๏ธ Recycling Heroes: Our little learners are experts at sorting! Whether itโ€™s paper, plastic, or getting creative with "junk modelling" in our craft corner, we make sure nothing goes to waste.
๐Ÿ Garden Guardians: Outside, our garden is a buzzing sanctuary. The children have been busy building wildlife habitats and bug hotels to make sure our local bees, birds, and insects have a safe place to call home.
We are so proud to be nurturing the next generation of eco-warriors. By making these choices today, we're helping our children build a brighter, greener tomorrow. ๐Ÿ’š

โœจ Tea time just got a whole lot more eggciting! ๐Ÿฅšโ˜•๏ธ
The children are so excited because our weekly delivery from Emmaโ€™s little egg co. just arrived! ๐Ÿงบ Itโ€™s so lovely knowing exactly where our eggs come from. These come from super happy, free-range chickens who spend their whole day roaming outside, playing in the grass and soaking up the sunshine! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ“
Thereโ€™s nothing like farm-fresh eggs for a cozy tea. It feels extra special knowing the hens are living their very best lives! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿฃ The big tea debate: runny egg or scrambled or maybe a yummy omelette ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅš
