We are looking for some willing volunteers for our trainee Powerboat Instructors to teach this week;

Thursday: 13:30pm to 15:30pm (1 person)
Friday: 13:30pm to 3:30pm (2 people)
Saturday: 09:30 - 12:30pm (1 person)

Lifejackets and all equipment included
Previous experience - none to minimal.
Min Age - 16.

After 3 very busy and very successful days networking at Seawork in Southampton last week, we are super excited to be exhibiting at the Aquaculture Show at the SECC on Tuesday/Wednesday.

We are on stand B44. Euan & Sam will be manning the stand on Tuesday, so please do pop along and say Hi.

Alongside our usual course material and information, you will also be able to have a first peek at our new eLearning courses, which are under development.

***NEW COURSE***

Another week, another successful course audit. We are really excited to announce that we have full course approval for the MCA 1-Day FireFighting Course. Future courses can either run at Rhu (dates are on our website) or we can arrange a suitable date to bring the course to your marina or premises.

Lots of H&S Safety hoops had to be jumped through in order to run this course outside in the marina, which were all successfully navigated. A huge thank you has to go to the team at Rhu Marina and, in particular, Suzanne. Without their help and support, we would not have been able to run this course here.

In addition to the MCA-approved course, we will also shortly be able to offer the Highfield Level 2 Fire Safety and Fire Warden courses as well, which cover the shoreside operations such as marina offices and staff - info to come.

We are extremely proud of our team for the effort that went into last week's course audit, and we are extremely excited to announce that we now have approval to run a STCW Medical Care on Board course.

This is the highest level medical course in the MCA Pathways and ensures that You & Sea remain one of the leading commercial training centres in Scotland with an ever-expanding portfolio of courses and training on offer. We now offer all RYA and STCW Medical courses.

We invested very heavily in training equipment to ensure as much hands-on time for our students as possible.

That moment when you realise exactly how much new First Aid equipment you have bought. 😬

I think it’s safe to say that we are going to be one of the best kitted out training centres for medical courses. 😀 looking forward to seeing all the kit I use over the next 10 days on our Medical First Aid and Medical Care on Board courses.

Very exciting day today. We took delivery of our new fire training simulator in preparation for running the MCA 1 Day Firefighting course starting on 2nd June.

Bring on Monday when we will have some time to build it fully and test it out.
