**ABA school shadow wanted in Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly**

We are advertising on behalf of a family for an ABA tutor to work with a delightful little girl who accesses a year 1 mainstream provision.

The candidate will be involved in integrating the child in to mainstream activities, teaching socialisation skills as well as early academics and communication skills using Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and strategies.

This is an established provision within a very supportive school environment. We are looking for someone confident and creative with experience of SEN and Autism. Experience of working in a school is highly desirable.

Experience of Applied Behaviour Analysis theory and/or practice is advantageous. Please state your knowledge of this in cover letter. You may be asked to complete an online training if you have limited theoretical knowledge.

Organisational and time management skills are essential and ability to communicate with others effectively must be demonstrated in CV and interview.

This is a self employed position with funding provided on a yearly basis by LEA. There are 2-3 full school days available. Typically 8:30-15:05 however current times are reduced to 8:25 - 14:50 during covid restrictions.

The candidate(s) will be required to attend training sessions with the current therapist and BCBA from November to December (6 weeks) for 1.5 days per week, moving to independent days of 2-3 per week from January.

Experience with young children with ASD is essential.
Prior experience of supporting or running therapy sessions using ABA is highly desired.
Clear DBS is essential.
Professional liability insurance required.
Candidates must be reliable and punctual which must be verified by two referees.

JOB ADVERT advertising on behalf of a family.

The family are looking for an experienced ABA tutor, preferably with school shadow experience, to work on their established ABA programme.

This is an employed position with Rhondda Cynon Taff council. Required days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00-3:30 on school days and 9:00- 3:00 on home days.

The candidate will be required to act as a school shadow Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s at an independent school in Llandaff, and Monday’s intensively at home. The post will be available from September and will require a training period alongside the lead therapist.

A family based in the Porthcawl area are looking for a committed individual to work with their 2-year-old boy. Using the principles of behaviour analysis, the successful candidates will be required to carry out 1:1 ABA therapy at the boy's home two times a week. Dates and times are flexible, but the family would ideally like sessions to be run on Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions are 2.5 hours in length with the possibility of session length changing based upon how well the child responds to the sessions.
Experience working with children with additional needs is essential. Experience utilising the principles of ABA is preferred, but training will be provided if necessary. Enhanced DBS required
